Ultimae proudly presents "ISOLATED", a various artists compilation selected by Danish DJ Christian Samsara with a definite ambient and cinematic downtempo spirit.
The 10-track story presents exquisite tracks by Christian Samsara, Martin Nonstatic, AES Dana, Erot, Lauge, Claudio PRC, SONMI451, MIKTEK and newcomer to our realm, ASC. 

It reveals remarkable nuance and depth of field, fuses intricate rhythmic patterns and atmospheric elements with evocative melodies conveying a gentle mesmerizing power. 
A feeling of wandering and softened yearning fills the air; isolation, according to Christian Samsara, heightens our senses and brings up a deeper resonance with music and nature.

The Hague based artist Alina Valentina is self-releasing a collection of remixes of her latest LP 'Life is like a fairytale'. The collection includes the likes of Legowelt, Betonkust as well as Dim Garden and Jentlemen.

Terrene stands as the first musical encounter between Danish and French composers Henrik Laugesen and Vincent Villuis respectively known as Lauge and AES Dana. 

A cornucopia of evanescent pads and elaborate rhythms with a distinctive downtempo vibe; a daedal story taking one on a magnetic peregrination through dense and contrasted sonic geographies, picturing the notion of temporality and space. 

This mighty 10 track album elicits emotions and feelings and will leave you full of moxie!

Loscil Tribute Live Mixed by Fingers in the Noise

It's almost ludacris to think that Slam, the Glaswegian techno duo from the North have been producing and releasing records for almost thirty years now. Throughout that time they have been involved in the formation of the Soma label, the imprint which released the earliest Daft Punk records, music from Surgeon, Funk D'Void and many many more. Slam's influence as a duo has been prolific and they are appreciated and respected across the world as much as they are in their hometown. Stepping up to the table with something a little outside the norm, we put the pair through their paces as they contribute an all ambient mix to our Monday series which sees them delve deep through the relams of Global Communication and beyond. This one is pretty special.

Leandro Fresco is a man of many talents and a passionate for music. Fresco started doing music as a teenager and released his first album in 1998. He worked together with the beloved and famous Argentinian rockstar Gustavo Cerati, toured with him as a special guest with his band Soda Stereo and developed his carrier as a solo artist. Producing and focusing on Ambient music, he has released on the sub label from Wolfgang Voigt as well as on Kompakt Records. He is an outstanding DJ and this time he delivers for Radio Cómeme an exceptional ambient set. <3

Welcome to the 33th Ambient Sessions presented by Deep Electronics.
This monthly released podcast brings you the best and the most diversity Ambient music can offer. This months session is created by Kraut Sounds.

About the mix:
My interest in ambient music started in the early 90ies with the first releases of Chicago’s Kranky Label e.g. Labradford and later on Pan American and Loscil from Canada (still one of my all-time favs). In paralled I discovered old German Kraut Electronic stuff from the 70ies which opened a complete new world of sound and is still a great inspiration for my own recordings.
Since I’m into making music I like working with deep and minimal sounds, (sub)sonic textures and free-form experiments which creates certain moods and feelings.

I believe that ambient music needs and deserves time to listen to in order to display it’s beauty and depths. When everything’s gently flowing it’s peace of mind.
In this mix I put together some of my recent favs including a couple of older tracks because ambient music is timeless. Enjoy (and please support the artists).

About Kraut Sounds:
Kraut Sounds was born and raised in Munich/Germany, now living in the countryside near the Alps. Formerly playing in bands and DJing, since spring 2012 doing Kraut Sounds. Originally started as a dub techno project, evolving since then into an experimental electronic outfit with deep ambient roots and a certain kraut electronic vein.

In the last years Kraut Sounds did a couple of digital EPs and albums for several dub techno / ambient netlabels: Büro für Erdrotation, Terra Rossa, Spiel:feld Records, Dimbideep Music, Drone Works International (all Germany), Adept Label (Spain) and Dub Techno Blog (UK). Podcasts of Kraut Sounds can be heard at Echogarden, Hello Strange, Spiel:feld, Moshitaka and Technopoetry.

Kraut Sounds also records under the name Polaroid Notes improvisational music file under contemporary classic. Up to now PN did four digital and limited edition CD releases for Audio Gourmet, Tessellate Recordings (both UK) and Büro für Erdrotation (Germany).

Farrago created a name for himself in this short time taking back the real roots of techno and rave and putting them in a new context... we said new, not different. This is his 3rd record on the label, and this time he goes beyond the idea of reminiscing the past, “Hard Light” shows how the rave can be alive in everyone of us, and absolutely not changing the formula he gives us this beautiful feeling of being back in the past, while you dig in a record shop and you find something that hits you, in our past was that record that gave us memories. In this case the work of this record is almost double, the record itself reminisces the past, but gives good hope for the future of genuine rave music without compromises. Derived from the Latin “Ultimae Terrae,” meaning “the furthest places,” the name Ultimae reflects a profound theme of exploration. This concept is at the heart of Ultimae Records, an ambient music record label and publisher dedicated to transporting listeners to the outer edges of experience through sound and offering a space for introspection and discovery within the vastness of the mind and beyond.

In 1999, Vincent Villuis and Sandrine Gryson, also known as AES Dana and Mahiane, united over a shared passion for the immersive world of electronic music. This collaboration led to the birth of the label. Initially envisioned as a musical portal, Ultimae’s mission was to explore and disseminate the diverse expressions of Ambient music far and wide through the production of records and the establishment of an online shop.

Over the years, Ultimae has expanded beyond its original scope, evolving into a multifaceted company with sound design, post-production, and mastering studios based in Lyon, France, along with professional services in publishing, music licensing, and synchronization.
