The story got a definite Martin Nonstatic touch to it, you'll even hear sounds you've heard before and think you're on safe grounds but this time to composer will carry you way beyond your expectations, revealing aspects of his creation with more grit and an adventurous mind.
Neoteric by essence and yet a return to some oneiric trip-hop and the day after, hands up in the air, dancing grooves feeling ; Treeline is the third album signed on French imprint Ultimae, from a rather prolific artist who launched into numerous collaborations including the Ghostwalk EP with James Murray and the Eskostatic album and who, throughout his art, keeps on questioning causes and underlying perceptions.

Derived from the Latin “Ultimae Terrae,” meaning “the furthest places,” the name Ultimae reflects a profound theme of exploration. This concept is at the heart of Ultimae Records, an ambient music record label and publisher dedicated to transporting listeners to the outer edges of experience through sound and offering a space for introspection and discovery within the vastness of the mind and beyond.

In 1999, Vincent Villuis and Sandrine Gryson, also known as AES Dana and Mahiane, united over a shared passion for the immersive world of electronic music. This collaboration led to the birth of the label. Initially envisioned as a musical portal, Ultimae’s mission was to explore and disseminate the diverse expressions of Ambient music far and wide through the production of records and the establishment of an online shop.

Over the years, Ultimae has expanded beyond its original scope, evolving into a multifaceted company with sound design, post-production, and mastering studios based in Lyon, France, along with professional services in publishing, music licensing, and synchronization.

Emma Offen is an American DJ, based out of New York City. Emma is the host and curator of SunriSession.tv a DJ performance movement filming the best techno sets in New York at pop up locations. Emma has built her name in the techno scene, playing underground warehouse raves. She is know in the fetish and goth scenes for her dark mixes. She is known for her multi genre techno mixes, trance, and electronica mixes. Emma has played in high scale private fashion events, stadium after parties in Greece/ Germany, and opening for bands. As well as a DJ, she is drummer which has given her an advantage with her mixing skills. She has a residency with Two Fifteen Lounge and Maison Nur in Manhattan.
