Martin Nonstatic's Unlocked EP reveals new undulations in the composer's soundscapes; vagabonding about a circuitry of dub basslines, evanescent pads and downtempo grooves. Soundtrack to a far distance beam up, gliding through the vast echoes of space emptiness, this digital release features a cinematic drum'n'bass remix by AES Dana and introduces the upcoming LP "Pulsatille".

I repost the music I personally like. I'm not promoting anything other than the music I like. As well as listening to music, which includes activities such as searching for new music, I dance to music. In (personal) fact, a significant amount of the music I like could be categorized as dance music. However, I also experience a mix of positive effects whilst listening to what could be called 'chill-out' or 'ambient' music. Furthermore, occasionally, I will 'dip' into my previous (past) catalogue of favorite music tracks. I was born in 1971, so I have been influenced by the music that was produced in  the 70's, 80's, 90's, etc. Although, now is my favorite time of music (now is all there is)

Derived from the Latin “Ultimae Terrae,” meaning “the furthest places,” the name Ultimae reflects a profound theme of exploration. This concept is at the heart of Ultimae Records, an ambient music record label and publisher dedicated to transporting listeners to the outer edges of experience through sound and offering a space for introspection and discovery within the vastness of the mind and beyond.

In 1999, Vincent Villuis and Sandrine Gryson, also known as AES Dana and Mahiane, united over a shared passion for the immersive world of electronic music. This collaboration led to the birth of the label. Initially envisioned as a musical portal, Ultimae’s mission was to explore and disseminate the diverse expressions of Ambient music far and wide through the production of records and the establishment of an online shop.

Over the years, Ultimae has expanded beyond its original scope, evolving into a multifaceted company with sound design, post-production, and mastering studios based in Lyon, France, along with professional services in publishing, music licensing, and synchronization.

Bringing beats to you from a multitude of producers, collectives and independent artists all around the world. 

Track selections lean heavily toward electronic sounds with a focus on Ethnofusion, Glitch, Dub, House, West Coast Bass, as well as some really chilled, mellow music which some could describe as Ambient.
