Dimmat returns to Mindspring with a 3 track EP containing some of his finest work yet. "Another World" sets things off with a spacey ambient feel - gorgeous atmospheres, perfectly timed plucks, and glitchy percussion pull us inwards. Up next, the title track, "Wrath Of Gods", continues the journey with a more synthetic feel - but, no less spacey - building towards a slighty more drum-centric finish. The final track, "The Day After", picks up right where WoG leaves off. The most percusive track in this ambient-driven EP, wraps things up with an emotional appeal. Concise and with purpose, Dimmat takes us on a trip to the outer reaches of inner-self.

DIGISEEDS is the first chapter in a series of Ultimae compilations conceptualized by Czech artist Lubos Cvrk aka Ambientium. As an electronic music stakhanovite, Lubos brought together composers from all around the world to create a story which slowly enwraps the listener in a soft and eerie ambient reverie. 

From minimal acoustic patterns melting into intense pads, ethereal dub lines blending with glitch, gentle electronica and a certain neo-classical aesthetics, DIGISEEDS paints new grounds and plays with textures to achieve a soothing and swirling dive in experience for the listener. 

Ambientium, in this first chapter, offers an emotive and exclusive mixed selection of 12 tracks from the composers Lars Leonhard (Germany), Martin Nonstatic (Austria) and One Arc Degree (Greece), known to the Ultimae realms, and plants new seeds with the participation of composers such as Ocoeur (France), Mandrax (Tasmania), Cloower Wooma (Russia), State Azure (UK), Jani R (Finland), Synapsia (UK) and himself (Czech Replublic).

Floating amongst carefully conjured symphonies and slowly evolving bass lies a gentle and caressing world of ambient heartscapes lovingly crafted by Atmoswaves, an atmospheric space music collaboration between two Russian composers: Artem Vislov (Deepness Dawn) and Pavel Shirshin (Cosmic Replicant). This deep and profound project is an impassioned rendition, similar, perhaps, to the melancholy beauty of a cosmonaut lying in the colorful fields of a faraway world. It is simply unearthly, a warm and fuzzy production that looks towards the Distant Horizons of ancient frequencies in the form of progressive psybient and downtempo electronica. Derived from the Latin “Ultimae Terrae,” meaning “the furthest places,” the name Ultimae reflects a profound theme of exploration. This concept is at the heart of Ultimae Records, an ambient music record label and publisher dedicated to transporting listeners to the outer edges of experience through sound and offering a space for introspection and discovery within the vastness of the mind and beyond.

In 1999, Vincent Villuis and Sandrine Gryson, also known as AES Dana and Mahiane, united over a shared passion for the immersive world of electronic music. This collaboration led to the birth of the label. Initially envisioned as a musical portal, Ultimae’s mission was to explore and disseminate the diverse expressions of Ambient music far and wide through the production of records and the establishment of an online shop.

Over the years, Ultimae has expanded beyond its original scope, evolving into a multifaceted company with sound design, post-production, and mastering studios based in Lyon, France, along with professional services in publishing, music licensing, and synchronization.
