Now that we have a closer baseline for what to expect, today's experiment was much more lucrative than we were initially expecting. Jonesy's exposure to the White Noise was much shorter than the first subjects, yet the end result was about the same. Is it because he fought it earlier? Perhaps the White Noise thrives on opposition. Perhaps it thrives in pure sadism, giving the subjects a chance to fight back before taking them? We can't tell for sure. More experimentation is required. 

In the meantime, the copy that returned from the White Noise seems a little rougher this time. Not much, but it seems a little more unstable. Perhaps it reflects on general mood at the time. We have plenty of hypotheses within our team, and while we can't confirm any, we do know that we'll have plenty of time to do so. After all... everyone here is a potential subject. Everyone but one. I think I have something else in mind for that one.

Interestingly, this Jonesy copy seems much more... quiet. Reserved. Not quite introverted, but less "out there" than he used to be. This seems to be a real response from Jonesy's memories though, perhaps a component of fear or something along those lines. These reports will start getting shorter as we go, as the inconsistencies start to clear up. 

To help with that, I believe I'll keep a log of important happenings around the estate in these reports. It could prove to be helpful to my employer.

The flower outside the estate is growing much faster than I expected. If I recall correctly, it was planted by the contenders after Sayori's death. ...to be frank, her death is one I regret. A simple misunderstood identity. It should not be her blood on my hands. But alas, what's done is done, all we can do now is look to the future.

I intend to leave the flower as a reminder to myself.

Welcome back to Ultimus Tourney. This is a 16-contender tournament, with the fighters duking it out to solve the mysteries of the White Noise before they're lost to it. With the stakes growing ever higher, our contenders compete to save themselves from an uncertain, dark fate presented by this strange force. With everything on the line, who will crack under the pressure?
