UNISON is the debut album from PARAADISO, a duo composed of musician TSVI and audio-visual artist Seven Orbits.

Inspired by Italian folk music, noise, ancient choral acoustic compositions, rituals and their functions, the album focuses on conveying a sense similar to those felt in ancient gatherings and ceremonies where the collective physical experience meant heightened stimulation at both the individual level and collective level.

Contrary to individual experience, collective experience is necessarily rooted in (shared) patterns of action and behavior; it has been studied that the sense of a joint consciousness emerges from such patterns of action and a sense of ''relatedness' is developed between members of the group; relatedness is a form of shared identity, which in turn can transform intragroup social relations and future re-Action. Experiences of synchrony and collective emotion induce in individuals a shift between two parallel cognitive “modes”, from the individual to the communal, generating feelings of openness, inclusion, and prosociality and sometimes even dissolution of the self-other distinction.

All human life and all human interaction are profoundly social: our everyday lives do not take place in isolation but constantly require our engagement with other people. The artists unknowingly sought these qualities emerging during the creation of the work as isolation and disconnection raised dramatically over the past two years and have created a piece in response to that which aims to be performed and experienced in a live context as an audio - visual experience.

Marseille-based producer and qualified megamind - bouti - unleashes blackrock! - a JURASSIC-sized 32min SINGLE. Commencing the project in endworld_2020, bouti’s only rule was to compose the 'track' in chronological order - chopping, colliding and crushing samples with reckless abandon and forward propulsion. The final incarnation spews forth in a kaleidoscopiq mess/mass of ***SOUND***. PsyTrap meets Flamenco-step, HARDTEK mashed with Ke$ha paps. bouti flouts all notions of ‘genre’ with delirious DAW tactics, creating a deep-fried plunderphonik paean to our info-avalanche age, i.e. the EXTREME NOW!!! 🌎💣︎☠︎

Scim - Surface Tension

Timesaver is Xen Model’s third full length album and second release on the Causal Chain imprint. The 9-track LP stays true to the duo’s eccentric sound while delving into the introspective side of their productions. Club-focused head nodders “Pin Cycle”, “Face Forward”, and “Controller” accompany key tracks like “Arm’s Edge Reach” and “Grip Dial”, which channel the duo’s affinity for ambient music. “A Bright Star” spotlights a catchy guitar hook and features close collaborator 11ai. Xen Model’s signature play on halftime structure is engaged in bass-heavy cuts “Ripstream” and “Local Group”. The album comes to a close with a radio edit of their previously released track “Lurch”, which clusters the duo’s myriad styles and influences in an encapsulating statement of the Xen Model sound.

His unbridled experimental electronica, while resonating with hardcore digital culture and bouncy rhythmic heaviness, is closely connected to his fascination for natural soundscapes and their fractal nature. In particular, the artist skillfully manages to depict a violent, tense world populated of minuscule yet grand sound variations, intertwined in a web of apparently chaotic textures.
