TBX Records 22nd reference is a collaboration between two Argentinean artists Agus and Lucas Ferreyra, who are an aesthetic category in minimal culture denoting an intuitive, implied rather than an explicit, obvious perception of the essence of a house beat.

'The Beat Make Me Do It' EP features three original tracks followed by an amazing remix by LAROSA. Maintaining a smooth and unique rhythm supplemented by deep pads and chords, each track has enough potential to stand its own. Agus and Lucas Ferreyra material is built to create sensations in any mix.

UM (untitledmusic - named so because that was what the default folder we created on our work computer was called) began life in 1996, with two aspiring DJ's trying to blag their way onto promo lists. A printed fanzine made in the dead of night when our employer wasn't looking spread far and wide across the UK's finest vinyl record stores with a little help of some of the seminal deep house labels and people. Over the following years it grew from print to new music podcasts, to websites, to social media and gave birth in 2011 to UM Records.

 

The aim was to build a label synonymous with up and coming producers, a springboard for talent to go onto bigger labels and great success around the world supported by a community of like minded deep house fans.

Since 2016 the label has operated on a not for profit basis - reflecting the tough nature of music business today. Allowing the UM Records to be uniquely focused on creativity and music, not profit. Across digital and vinyl platforms UM’s sound is ever evolving, always emotive, often challenging and a name you can trust to bring you the very best of deep house.
