Macchina del Fango è un progetto musicale indipendente, nato nel 2011 su iniziativa del cantautore Alessandro Zappulli.
Nel 2015 il gruppo pubblica il primo EP, "L'uomo immaginario". Nel 2017 invece, pubblica il primo LP, dal titolo "Insetti"
La formazione attuale è composta da: Alessandro Zappulli (voce, chitarra), Alessandro Scerpa (basso, cori), Stefano Sirilli (violino), Andrea Biasich (batteria).
