Space Jesus - Exclusive Grassroots Dope Hat Mix

7 months ago i fell asleep listening to josh pan. I woke up at 7 in the morning totally unable to fall back asleep, i normally sleep until noon or 1 so this was weird, anyway i was in a super weird mood so i aimlessly tinkered in ableton until about 3 in the after noon and i had this as the finished product. 

Over that time ive shown dozens of people this song in person and the reaction was always along the lines of "why havnt you put this out yet". i always kinda say "i dont know, but really i just feel afraid that people would think im abondoning dubstep in search of fame or some shit" when in reality i just feel that its good to produce multiple styles of music if for nothing else other than to practice...well that and i come from a far more musical background than computer noise so its good to make actual music once in a while. 

With that being said, i think this track is something that im more proud of than everything else. all the pads are a chior patch i made out of a personal voice recording, the synth on the second drop is a recording of a cat purring, and all melodic elements are full midi. theres almost no samples used outside of recored ones. honestly making this tune has been by far the most fun i have had producing anything in ages. This is because i felt absolutely no restrictions on which direction i wanted to go. 

Sorry for the huge rant. 

Ive been working extremely hard to prime this new ep. announcements will be made soon during the prime times of the day.
