Dancefloor heroes Oliver follow up their finely tuned Mechanical EP with a surprising new remix collection that casts their already-diverse originals in a stunning new light. Kicking off with a stomping, fan favorite mix of "Night Is On My Mind" by festival king Dillon Francis, Mechanical Remixes kicks into even higher gear with Nom De Strip's big room take on "Control," before pulling a moody left turn with Tchami's housey (dare we say jazzy!) version of "MYB," and closing out strong with a high-NRG remix of "Mechanical" by new young producer Values. Machine music never sounded so good!

Having already established themselves as one of the most versatile and ambitious acts around, DC and Hooks break new sonic territory with eight tracks that that cover a wide spectrum of electronic music. Joining the Toronto duo on the record is Twin Shadow for the house anthem”Lost You”. Jane’s Addiction singer Perry Ferrell makes an appearance closing track “Blink.” Also on the EP are Colorado group Big Gigantic & fellow Canadian Omar LinX for the smooth hip-hop cut “Stoned Capone”,  producer and vocalist Bright Lights, New York rapper Sean Price and French DJ/Producer group Dirtyphonics.  Somewhere Else is their first proper release since last year’s Hot Sauce EP, out July 1st on Mad Decent and distributed in Canada by Ultra Canada.

Although the two are geographically very far apart, Silent Servant based in Los Angeles, US and Broken English Club based in London, UK, the two share a similar outlook and musical approach. Both projects have been on the rise lately, and stem from a strongly rooted techno background. Combining their influences of dance music, techno, EBM, industrial and post-punk, Silent Servant and Broken English Club offer a new breed of EBM infused techno wave on the Violence And Divinity EP. They artfully create music that works both on and off the dance floor, infusing a dark atmospheric mood with addictive, pulsating rhythms. Themes of love, death, modernity and automobile crashes appear throughout this EP from the music itself right through to the cover art and one of a kind vinyl pressing. Limited edition vinyl pressing of 999 copies, first 500 copies are pressed on black inside milky clear vinyl, housed in a matte printed sleeve.
