April 2015 sees Boston's influential 90s pop-punk legends the Lemonheads release their one and only BBC Session; "Bored On The Fourth Of July’" making it commercially available for the first time ever.

Following on from the comprehensive reissue series of their early punk years, this startling and fuzzed-up collection of unreleased material serves as the perfect firecracker blast from Fire Records.

On the Fourth of July in 1989, the Lemonheads entered the hallowed studios of the BBC. The band were at the end of a European tour and only too happy to find themselves recording a session for the legendary John Peel. 

These blistering tracks are taken from their formative years; wild and raw, they capture the intense and volatile nature of a band often in turmoil, both with their pop and punk instincts and often with one another.

The Lemonheads John Peel Sessions are now available on 45rpm 12" vinyl for the first time.
