Leonski was born in Switzerland but moved in his very early 20s to Berlin where he spent quite a few years, followed then by Mexico, where he’s still based at the moment.
Through travels and nightlife experiences around the globe, his sound is much inspired by disco, afro & latin music, blues and deeper house elements which reflects in his sets and own productions.

Paula Juana introduces the first album by the multi-instrumentalist, producer and DJ Pedro Ricard. A nostalgic yet timeless piece that lovingly fuses jazz, electronic, and traditional Portuguese folk’: Soprem Bons Ventos’ represents an ode to the past, to those who came before me, connecting with my present and imagining the future.”

Stylistically, Ricardo became entranced with jazz from an early age, while also becoming enamoured with folk music – rooted in his Portugal childhood, now encompassing sounds from Cape Verde, Brazil, and Spain along the way. He intertwines these instrumental influences with field recordings, and electronics, on Soprem Bons Ventos.

The album is a journey that encompasses nostalgia, love, longing, and togetherness, tenderly intertwined throughout with vibrant percussion, whispers of vocals, soaring keys, and delicate guitars.

Paula Juana is also bringing us Opera’ by Nenad Jelić. A seminal experimental Serbian album Opera originally released on the former Yuogoslavian state record label PGB / RTB in 1986. Combining Balkan and South American percussion and rhythms with synthesisers, vocal samples, and at times unexpected acoustic instruments (zither and harmonica), the album has slowly become a cult classic amongst fans of fourth world and avant garde music and is a kaleidoscope of contrasting moods and inspirations.

Natural Selections is excited to announce our very first release from the self-proclaimed organic music makers, UK legendary duo Coyote. Every Forest Has A Shadow defines our future of bringing together dance and the natural world in a singular sonic expression. Swirling psychedelic synths and organic drums are all backed by the inescapable feeling of being in the forest amongst the trees. Complete with remixes from Sebra Cruz and Vanity Project, the release is available on all major platforms as well as Bandcamp and Soundcloud.
