Producer and DJ Umut Akalın, who has been in the music market for more than 20 years, has made hıs own radio sessıon on popular radio stations such as Kiss FM, Frisky Radio, Radıo FG, Lounge FM, Number 1 and Unknown FM, and has also served as the music director of Cafe Del Mar Radio abroad for years.

In the late 00s, he has worked as music director at iconic clubs as Halikarnas, Hadigari, Catamaran, at Bodrum, Mansion in Cyprus, owned nights in Pacha, and MOS in London.

Umut, who has taken his career one step further with the albums he released under the names Umut Akalin, Jay Dee and Mao Mak in recent years. He had the opportunity to work with some of the names such as Timo Garcia, Saccao, and Fabricio Pecanha, Enzo Siffredi, Vanilla Ace, and Rafael Cerato, Marco Tegui, Moe Turk.

Having been born in Athens, Manos kontakis grew up listening to bands like Depeche Mode,New Order and others.Some years later he began to be interested in the electronic sound ( House/Deep House/Tech House/Techno/Progressive House).Under the influence of artists like Sasha,Hernan Cattaneo and others he started mixing for fun, teaching himself the basics and getting a good feel of how it all works. Over the last year he contributed a number of guest mixes for a internet radio station.
