Based between Athens and London, Lee Adams is a multi-media artist, DJ and curator who has worked extensively with sound, film and visual installations, from re-scoring a lost David Toop soundscape for conceptual artist John Latham, to collaborating with noise violinist Mia Zabelka on the touring project Rotten Sun. 

Working under the name Choronzon he plays expansive and cinematic dj sets fusing elements of techno, noise, experimental electronics, minimal wave and body music for clubs, galleries and festivals worldwide. As a producer he collaborates with Law334 as S U T U R E, releasing on various underground labels including Khemia, Murder Tbilisi and Liber Null, Berlin.

NYX RITUAL LIV - CHORONZON - OCCULT MYSTERY

American-born artist Ryan Miller is a prolific techno producer and live performer, releasing work under a variety of aliases (Tunnel, Darkcloud, FWD//, +) for labels devoted to innovative techno and experimental bass music such as Instruments of Discipline, Gegen Records, House of Reptile, Omen, Depth Request, FWDSLASH, and his own imprint, Webuildmachines.

Over the past decade, Tunnel has toured across the US, Europe, and Asia performing a kinetic blend of sampled breaks, hard techno, cinematic sound design, and rhythmic noise, his hardware performances balance dance-floor focused function with raw emotion and hypnotic intensity.

There’s beauty in chaos and method to madness, that much is true to the work of this faceless duo from Sweden. SHXCXCHCXSH’s strain of anarchic noise has sparked conversations and head-spinning records ever since the two producers first swapped notes in 2009. For about a decade, Hannes Stenström and Emmanuel Pascal Moreno stayed out of the public eye as a matter of principle, stripping music to its very base, without the weight of prejudice and social context holding it back: ’we prefer to listen to music in the dark, preferably without knowing who made it, when or how’. From the chaos and their loyalty to instinct came the need to find new structures, and so their faceless records united around a theme or musical element. It was a gamble, but their sledgehammer destruction of techno conventions gave some of the most intriguing sounds of the 2010s. Sampling everything from podcasts to YouTube to field recordings, they’re always on the hunt for ‘in-between’, ‘unintentional’ details, a way to composite the strangest and most innovative techno out there. Their staggering releases on Avian pioneered new sounds (and track names), and successfully manufactured the type of music you could hear both at home and in clubs; and 2024 saw them resurrect their Rösten imprint with the release of DO, an infernal four-tracker made for the dancefloor. Bassiani Podcast 257 explores that format further, bringing their stabbing and psychedelic havoc to a crowd facing setting. Immersive and heavy-duty, this one’s an hour-long clip of their snake-pit percussions, mind-bending techno from the enigmatic Norrköping duo.

Faux Naif has a particular view on club music. Under her Faux Naïf alias she digs for records often outside of the electronic spectrum, often championing the lesser known sounds of EBM, Tropical Goth, Synth & Post Punk. Her broad tastes in these genres mostly stems from the 80s and typically dark in sound, she takes as much influence from British groups like The Cure, Coil and the Cocteau Twins as she does any electronic producer.
Faux Naif supports these sounds on her radio show on Threads Radio located at the London venue The Cause and also through her own parties M || M (mouthiimouth).

This is my second liveset. I have done it in the covid-'holiday'-time in April 2020. I had so much time for playing with my kids, making music and watching TV :D
It is all done with a Octatrack, a Novation Drumstation, a Novation A-Station, an Elektron Analog Drive, a Korg Monologue and a Roland VT-3. ....it goes all through a Mackie mixer and an Alesis Smashup compressor.
