Ο ήχος και η μουσική των «ειρήσθω εν παρόδω» προέκυψε από τη συνεύρεση έξι μουσικών με διαφορετικές μουσικές καταβολές σε ένα πειραματικό και εναλλακτικό μουσικό σχήμα, που «εν παρόδω» θα προσφέρει στο ακροατήριο του μία ολοκληρωμένη και ειλικρινή μουσική πρόταση, με ιδιαίτερο χαρακτηριστικό το προσωπικό ηχόχρωμα, την πολυρυθμία και την έντονη αυτοσχεδιαστική διάθεση.

 Οι «ειρήσθω εν παρόδω» δημιουργήθηκαν στη Αθήνα το 2005 διασκευάζοντας μουσικές από τον χώρο της world jazz αλλά και της μουσικής της Μεσογείου, καθώς και κάποια jazz standards. Η μουσική σαν επικοινωνιακό μέσο, μπορεί να παίξει σημαντικό ρόλο σαν μια κοινή γλώσσα μεταξύ των λαών. Έτσι τα στοιχεία που χαρακτηρίζουν την ταυτότητα του κάθε λαού περνάνε μέσα από την μουσική σαν μια ανταλλαγή κουλτούρας, με αποτέλεσμα την εξέλιξη της μουσικής σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο. Άλλωστε η μουσική από την φύση της είναι κάτι ζωντανό που αλλάζει και εξελίσσεται, αντιπροσωπεύοντας τα σημεία των καιρών. 

 Τα τελευταία δέκα χρόνια oι «ειρήσθω εν παρόδω» εμφανίστηκαν ζωντανά σε μουσικές σκηνές, συναυλίες, φεστιβάλ, κ.ά. Το Μάϊο του 2008 επιλέχθηκαν να εκπροσωπήσουν την Ελλάδα στο 8ο Ευρωπαϊκό Φεστιβάλ Τζαζ του Δ. Αθηναίων στην Τεχνόπολη.

 Σήμερα, γράφουν την δική τους μουσική, εκφράζονται και επικοινωνούν, δημιουργώντας μουσικές εικόνες που μοιράζονται με το κοινό τους, με την κυκλοφορία του πρώτου τους προσωπικού δίσκου «οιστρηλασία». Παράλληλα, ετοιμάζουν και νέες μουσικές συνθέσεις που θα παρουσιάσουν στις επόμενες ζωντανές εμφανίσεις τους.

 The sound and music of "iristho en parodo" is the result of the coming together of six musicians with varied musical backgrounds, into an experimental and alternative musical group that in time (en parodo) will offer its audience a complete and sincere musical offering, with the main component being the personal tone-color, the multitude of rhythm and the strong improvisational mood.

 "iristho en parodo" formed in Athens in 2005 improvising music from the world-jazz scene but also music of the Mediterranean as well as jazz standards. Music as a means of communication can play a significant role in forming a common language between people. Aspects of identity that characterize any ethnic group pass through that group’s music and so the music acts as an exchange of cultures evolving music worldwide. Music is by nature a living thing that evolves reflecting the times.

 Over the past ten years "iristho en parodo" have been appearing live at concerts and festivals. In May of 2008 they were selected to represent Greece in the 8th European Jazz Festival organized by the Municipality of Athens at ‘Technopolis’.

 Today they write their own music, and will shortly be sharing with the public their musical ‘images’ in their first personal album "istrilasia". At the same time they are preparing new compositions that will be heard in their upcoming live performances.
