Nick Checketts born in 96, with an infatuation for 90/00s house music and rare dubs, resulted in his new alias @dubz_96. Always with a minimal flavour Nick has recently brought out his first release on London-based label Music related. He focuses on creating a vibe in his sets which cover the wide spectrum of house & garage. 2021 is shaping up to be exciting with a couple of EPs on the way as well as various club shows.

With a passion for electronic music since his teenage years, steloo‘s landing behind the decks at some point was inevitable and his journey started on a grey and rainy Sunday morning at Kater Blau, Berlin, in November 2018. He and his buddy Bjoern had a serious brainstorming session and decided to start mixing and play a surprise act at a friend’s birthday party. This idea was one of the best ones they ever had. With support from their best Katja Komorebi, they would fulfil this task with much enthusiasm and excitement. Their friends had no idea what they were up to and the surprise was a success. That moment was the ignition of a lifetime project dedicated to house and techno music which sees the two perform as federkern.

Shortly after this experience, steloo also focused on his solo project, spending every free minute digging, listening, mixing and searching for his personal vibe. His preferable genres at this moment would be minimal, techno and deep tech, but everything is welcomed as long as the groove is right.

The seventh edition of our exclusive podcast series 60 Min. White Noise comes from the Stuttgart artist Julez aka Julian Klaiber. Who has his musical roots in Acid House, UK Garage and Breakbeat. Which he incorporated in places like Berlin, Paris or Barcelona. Born in Lower Austria but raised in Stuttgart, he tries to translate what he has experienced into a tangible sound form. Together with other protagonists, he created the label Studio17, which heralds a new chapter in musical presence in Stuttgart and beyond. His set are a skilfully mixture of ambient, minimal and break.

Sein unverwechselbar treibender Sound ist inzwischen auch in seiner neuen Heimat Berlin auf zahlreiche Ohren gestoßen. Gigs in legendären Clubs wie dem Goldengate-Berlin oder Renate sind inzwischen keine Seltenheit mehr.

Immaculate production from Madison Square Garden's Music Director, Raymond Castoldi. One of his amazing gems from his deep house releases from the 90s on his own label, X-Ray Records. This man was truly ahead of his time. I mean 1992?? Wild. His other 2 releases which were on this EP were remastered and released recently, which I'll put a link to. Both of which are even more sensational than this, fused with jazzy piano riffs and ambience.
