After a bold, melodic showing on Splinters Vol. 1, Stellar Dendrites returns to Unbeyond Anthologies’ halls with the brand new jungle-influenced single “intuition” and its accompanying remixes.

“intuition” is dream-like and meditative, with graceful pads and plenty of percussive fills plunging the listener into a futuristic soundscape that is as catchy as it is relaxing. Remixes from Elira, koolcat, vurbank, and F/K take the original in wildly different directions, from soulful garage to gritty neurofunk, while retaining the expansive atmosphere that makes “intuition” such a stand-out track.

In December 2024, 38 scientists, including several synthetic biology researchers and two Nobel laureates, warned that the creation of mirror-image life could cause "unprecedented and irreversible harm" to human health and ecosystems worldwide. The potential for mirror-image bacteria to escape immune defenses and invade natural ecosystems might lead to "pervasive lethal infections in a substantial fraction of plant and animal species, including humans." Given these risks, the scientists concluded that mirror-image organisms should not be created without compelling evidence of safety
