We’re excited to announce our latest guest; Bristol based, rave-scene legend, Borai. Part of the illusive group, Club Glow, alongside Denham Audio, L-Major and Mani Festo, the collective have certainly cemented their place nationally and internationally, pushing unique breakbeat rhythms, infused with a heavy 90’s jungle influence – which has been an integral part of Borai’s mixing DNA for the last 15 years in itself. Though jungle may be the main building block of Borai’s DJing style, years of behind the scenes work in local record stores has paved way for an eclectic track knowledge, including dark garage bangers and energetic dancehall heaters. 

As a producer, Borai’s sound spans from house, to hardcore, to (obviously) jungle, and 2018 saw rise to monumental track ‘Make Me’, produced with Denham Audio and released under self-managed label, Higher Level Records - which Mixmag ranked no. 16 out of the top 50 tracks of that year. Having released under a number of other labels, including Berlin-based Jackoff and Retrofit, as well as Argot Records’ internationally-focused sister label, Tasteful Nudes, based across the pond in the U.S., Borai’s monopoly in the scene has only gone from strength to strength over the years.
