Legendary German techno duo Pan-Pot announce their brand-new project ‘FORTE’, a collection of ten singles. Each track presents individually, each telling their own unique story influenced by the duo’s ever-evolving sound over the years - something that has kept them perpetually current. The culmination also marks a milestone 20th anniversary for the duo, serving as a resounding reminder of why they have been at the forefront of the scene for over two decades.

’FORTE’ meaning strong, translates all the good and bad times we have had, in a way that reflects on our sound. It's a journey of reflection, reinvention, and inspiration from our travels around the world and the people we have met along the way. The tracks emulate the past, present, and future, in a range of styles, but most importantly they are all tracks which we love and enjoy playing. Slam presents a brand new series of carefully curated VA’s on home label Soma.

Aimed at showcasing exciting, emerging artists "Exhibit" aims to channel techno's fundamental frequencies as Slam seek out the rawer, deeper end of the spectrum with selected artists, focussing on the deeper and hypnotic sound of techno.

Packing in 8 tracks across this first release, Slam open with title track ‘Exhibit 1’ a deep, sub heavy and electrifying roller. Newcomers Mist Gasp are up next with the suitably trippy Final Return followed by the pairing of Confluence & Von Tee Rah who pack in a lot of attitude with Unit 1. Brazilian producer Marcal steps up with the groove laden Tombstone, quickly followed by Berlin’s Denise Rabe who treads a darker path with the driving, Walking On Borders. Another Berlin based pairing, Angioma & BLANKA, serve up the crafty Tricky Sunday before James Bong drops the fast paced yet minimalistic and melodic Roses 101. Closing out the release is Glasgow based producer Tremor who has been making waves in his home city with his on point, minimal sound and his track, A Moment, sums ups his style perfectly.

Spektre's record label Respekt presents the 5th instalment in its Respekt Rebels various artist series, which features solo peak time techno tracks by Atroxx, Jody 6, Mark Porter and Sam Kitt, as well as a collaboration between Chicago Loop and Jack Smooth.

Sam Kitt is a Welsh artist who is making his third appearance on Respekt following music on other respected techno imprints such as Christian Smith's Tronic and T78's Autektone. His track "Ascension" has a menacing synth with swelling suspense and pounding percussion.

Mark Porter is a Northern Irish techno producer who is making his Respekt debut following music on other prestigious techno imprints such as Thomas Schumacher's Electric Ballroom and Dense & Pika's Kneaded Pains. Mark Porter's track "With the Rhythm" is a brutal track that fuses hip-hop style vocals with synth stabs and thundering percussion.

Jody 6 is an Australian following up from his recent hard-hitting techno EP on Respekt and has also dropped tracks on other labels ranging from Spartaque's Codex to The YellowHeads' Reload. "Sweat Groove" unfolds with building intensity, as soulful vocals combine with a sinister bassline and driving percussion.

Atroxx is a forward-thinking techno artist from Canada who has been a regular on Respekt in addition to other trend-setting imprints such as Markantonio's AnalyticTrail, Sian's Octopus and Pleasurekraft's Kraftek. His track "The Corporation" has dramatic vocals and an ominous bassline layered with a rippling lead synth.

Chicago Loop is a veteran producer from the UK who has close ties to Respekt, and Jack Smooth is another pioneering artist from the UK whose style ranges from techno to jungle. Both these artists have been releasing music since the '90s and their track "Overspeed" has a throbbing bassline and breakbeat rhythms layered with old-school vocal textures to create a timeless groove.
