😂 What a pleasant diversion, which was the result of an accidently passed PLAY button due to a muscle spasm. 😘 A rather random happenance & which resulted in a dramatic change in direction musically! 😂

The next mix is coming in by two of Salon Des Amateurs' Residents @marijanaanajiram & @lucas-croon . Marijana is originating from Belgrade and came to Germany in 2013 for her scientific work, where she ended up meeting Lucas, Producer and DJ with a wide musical background. Lucas played in Bands such as BAR, The Klooms or Stabil Elite, and already had experience with DJing so it was natural he got her introduced into the equipment and techniques when she got offered her first gig.

Now they're here, spreading good vibes for the slow tribes!

@max-bunt aka Fabian is a Swiss native living in the picturesque Zürich area, working amongst other things as a graphic designer and a real underground head and digger. He is no stranger to the Cosmic music fans in Europe, being a regular fixture at Camp Cosmic, has earnt him a name among the heads for his unique mixes of often equally downtempo as well as weird and wonderful mixes that shimmer with greatness and leave listeners wondering what they just listened to, but all in the best of ways. He is a flea market fiend with an open heart and an open mind, searching for music from near and far, driven by curiosity and a longing for finding those goosebumps-inducing records. His taste is always in flux and we hope you will join him on this ride through his discoveries he made along the way. All that's left to say is please tag him in any questions, compliments, ID requests or any other thing you'd like to comment on since it is his mix, not ours. Philipp has put together songs from Francis The Great, the seven year old Afrobeat-wunderkid, via the Disco masterpiece “On a Day Like Today” from Auguste Darnell with those wonderful kid choruses to “Le Petit Chevalier”, the somehow tragic song sung by Nico's son Ari. It was recorded 2009 in a bar called »Gulasch« that I liked a lot when I had just moved to Berlin. A dirty little beer-spilling, bolognese mouth-greasing, vodka-breathing universe.

Their infamous DJ sets are an eclectic overture of fine selected Italo, (Swiss) Disco and obscure sounds of the past and the future. Fitting my needs of happiness in this strange times of senseless violence. Coco Fresco refers not only to a tropical juice, it is that sweet melody rinsing down your ear, while enjoying the  bitterness of a clashing society. Stay fresh - stay strong.

Starting as a label that served basically as a platform for their friends’ music in 2010, Uncanny Valley evolved into a record label that assembles acclaimed artists from the electronic music scene not only from the label’s base in Dresden but also from Germany and beyond. With a strong emphasis on the records’ artwork the label heads Philipp Demankowski, Conrad Kaden, Carl-Johannes Schulze and Albrecht Wassersleben are constantly on a mission to establish and refine the artists from the roster as well as to search for new talents. Artists as Jacob Korn, Cuthead, Credit 00, Massimiliano Pagliara, CVBox or Panthera Krause all feel at home on the label, giving them the chance to develop projects that are not only music related but can also integrate different art forms. With the two offshoots Rat Life and shtum under its belt, Uncanny Valley does not stand still to explore the full spectrum of electronic and not so electronic music from House via Disco, Hip-Hop or Ambient through to Techno.
