I had the chance and opportunity to play at the event called Drums@Work x BASS PLUS alongside beautiful people and great music - and also being this the second time playing in a club for me :)

Was not planned for upload but I decided to make it my first mix, as I put a lot emotions in this one.

Hope you enjoy listening as much as I did while playing, trying myself out a bit and recording this :3

"This mix came about through a joke between Just Bee and I. In 2020 I started learning Cantonese, which she has helped with occasionally, including teaching me the word for vinyl, "hak gau." When I agreed to record a mix for Unchained, Bee asked if I would be doing it "hak gau" to which I decided, "Actually, I will." Because I included many vinyl-only jungle tunes the sound is thoroughly old school, though I tried to keep a modern flare by including a few footwork and half time tracks."

Taking his name from the newspeak of Orwell’s 1984, PlusGood has been DJing for over a decade, first in Washington, DC and now in San Francisco. His sets explore jungle futurism while remaining loyal to the foundation of breakbeat hardcore and dub. Marked by warm analog pads, muscular breaks, and mystic vibe, PlusGood has been fortunate enough to make connections across the globe, playing Membrain Festival in Croatia, the Rupture 10th anniversary in London, and parties in Hong Kong.
