Excited to present our first sub label since we started up back in 2016, aptly titled Looseneck Records! For a while now we've been wanting to create an imprint that strictly focused on our passion for that classic, no frills 90's techno sound - Looseneck aims to satisfy this craving. Expect temperatures, tempos & rhythms to be at an all time high, and also look forward to hearing exciting debuts from some of Not Safe For Wax's extended family! 

First up to bat is none other than NSFW head Miagma, who gives us a cyclone of a maxi single with his 8 minute warehouse melter "Don's Demolition". Flying thru on the flipside comes two more hardgroove and minimal rollers, made available when the full release drops on Friday, April 30th. Buckle up!

Like the origin of his DJ and production name, London-based Irishman Céilí is no stranger to a good old knees up.

One of the regular DJs soundtracking early mornings at techno mainstay Jaded, Céilí's rough n ready (pun intended) blend of techno, acid and fast-paced electronics seeps from his record bag directly into his own musical output. Over the last few years he's notched up solo releases and collaboration for labels like TITDM, Ophism, Obscuur and Lobster Theremin channeling his love for pounding rhythms that are rich with melody.

He takes care of this week's Wednesday Alternative mix and he doesn't let up. No holds barred from the off, Céilí moves through whirring acid techno, crunchy industrial rhythms and rumbling electro — tune in, strap in, and please keep your arms inside the vehicle at all times!

Sangre Voss, champion of maximalist left-field dance, has been pushing sounds out of SE London since his debut Dance Class EP, released via Third Place in 2019.
Having also featured on Rhythm Section and Fabric Records, in 2020 Sangre released Expressions of a Mind in Slumber 2017-19, a collection of ambient compositions woven together with samples of his sleep talking which received support from the likes of Avalon Emerson and Bradley Zero.

He also runs the eclectic monthly pseudo pseudo show on Noods radio as a platform for the more under-loved and peripheral genres.
