Born and raised in Southeast Washington, D.C., rapper Uncle Toe developed a passion for songwriting at the age of eleven, going by the rap name Lil Psyko. He later changed his name to Pyro, then Toe Boogie, before landing at Uncle Toe, the name that his two nephews call him. He draws inspiration from his own experiences and surroundings to pen lyrics to beats inspired by a wide ranging of sounds from boom bap to trap, west coast to soul and the DC based genre of Go-Go. Uncle Toe looks to motivate his fans to become the best, most unstoppable version of themselves through his music.
