Mjayo was Born Keston Joseph Duke on the 3rd of May 1980 at Port of Spain General Hospital Trinidad and Tobago to Peter and Iris Charles Duke.

He  is a Versatile Artiste, Song Writer and Performer his genres range from Reggae/Rapso/Soca/Dancehall and Hip Hop.  

His musical journey began at the age of 19 under the N.A.F New Artiste Foundation in which he was selected to perform at their various Showcases throughout the country, at the time he had a different Sobriquet which was Jahmikayel. His tour track was entitled Mr Babylon Put Down Yuh Gun which offer him huge applause from the Audience for his Fast Triple Flow Delivery Intro. He has performed at various events from Studio 53 A Cyar Wait Concert To recently the event POWER by 3 Canal at the Big Black Box on Murray Street Port of Spain.

He is also the founder of Mount Olive (M.O) Records which he started with his Brother Preston Duke aka Don Musick in 2001, managing other Artiste as well. He did a community tour call the Maloney Karavan which he sang another Hit Song call Vampire that was a deep expression of those responsible the struggle and ills in neglected communities.  He also help promote Gospel Artiste Ephron Tempro aka Micaya track call To My Parents, that has a Video on Youtube. Over the years he face many struggles and decide Re-educate himself, doing a course in Recording Engineer by Capture Live Studio at Xtatic Ltd Compound under the Ministry and Science and Tertiary Education. This course exposed him to the core values of sound capture, producing, mixing and outdoor set up of Live events. Under the tutorship of Nigel Brizan who Kes and the Band Main engineer, he was part of the team setting up the Fred Hammond Concert also the Buju Banton and Shabba Ranks Conert in 2006 at the Queen park savannah. He also did the Youth Rise Program under Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs which he was a part of the planning committee. 

He Re-brand his label and himself, this transition brought to life Mjayo (The Finest) and M.G.P Records in which he`s presently doing collaborations with local acts such as Don Musick, Dingo, YT, MUZ 
and Bep Long, he is also on Youtube and Reverbnation.
