Music and ALL kinds of art, have ALWAYS been there for me. Throughout my life, it has soothed me, saved me, taught me, and oh so much more. I have sung my whole life, as it is one of my most favorite things to do. Singing has the same effect on me as music and art in general. Not that I have the greatest voice though. I'v always been creative. I believe it has saved my life. I can't remember where I got the guitar or when, but I just picked it up one day and played around and started recording. First on a tape recorder, then mp3 and a little on a multi track recorder, which I had no clue how to use. I am afraid to play the tapes from fear they'll be eaten up and this way, maybe I can salvage them. The recordings are all recorded from tape player to my phone. They are not professional, I have no ideas of chords I'm playing and I have never written lyrics before hand. I just pick/ed up the guitar, have a though in my head, a tune then record. I hope someone out there listens and is moved in some way or inspired. I still sing and make up songs off the cuff, lots of funny, cute children's songs too, but haven't been able to record much for many reasons. Perhaps in the near future. I'v always wanted to rerecord with someone playing guitar or other instruments or just continue where I left off, but never pursued. Just know I am 50 now and my journey long,  I have learned much since the days of this music. I'm finding my uploading humorous in some ways as well. I'm off tune at times and songs can be nonsensical and so much more...lol Anyway, thanks for dropping in.
