Derek has been active as a DJ since 2006, mainly representing the house, minimal and dubtechno genres, and is also a passionate record collector. For several years he was one of the organizers and resident DJs of the house-techno parties Forge and Ironworks in Dunaújváros. He is currently the organizer and resident of Back2Nature, a series of parties based mainly on house music, the DJ and editor of the radio show Night Café, and he regularly appears at Phonoda team events. too.
