The Finnish producer, DJ, and head of VUO Records has a rare talent for distilling the essence of depth, space, and rhythm into his productions. His music is infused with a hypnotic pulse that doesn’t shout loudly but tells stories subtly – of snow-covered landscapes, quiet nights, and an unwavering love for electronic music. What sets TM Shuffle apart is his uncompromising dedication to reduction. His musical philosophy is not about quantity but quality: less is more. By deliberately limiting himself, he becomes more creative – digging deep, searching intentionally for the right sound, and developing a distinct musical signature. This principle is evident not only in his productions but also in his thoughtfully crafted, driving DJ sets.

He shares this passion off stage as well: as the label head of VUO Records, he provides a platform for other artists who share his vision of dub techno – raw, organic, and timeless.

In a personal conversation with Andre Kronert, TM Shuffle offers insight into his creative workflow and studio philosophy. In a world of unlimited possibilities, he consciously relies on a minimalist setup: turntables, a mixer, a few select synthesizers, drum machines, and a computer for sequencing. [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] proudly presents its 86th release — Mountain Altai VA: Oroktoysky Bridge. Dub Techno Star Collection, Vol. 4

Oroktoysky Bridge — a suspended thread above the roaring Katun, hanging on cables like strings stretched between sky and earth. It is often called the gateway to the heart of Altai. Here, above the thunderous waters, one feels suspended between two worlds — one where the river’s voice never fades, and another where time itself slows down. The sound of the river becomes a low, trembling hum you can feel in your chest. And beneath this bridge lies the deepest point of the Katun — more than seventy meters down into a hidden abyss. This is a place of power, where earth and water converge in tension, and a person stands literally between heaven and the depths.

Vol. 4 of Mountain Altai VA is dedicated to this bridge — a crossing, a symbol of courage, a point where shores, states, and dimensions meet. Nine tracks sound like legends heard in passing across this suspended path.

Mountain Altai VA: Oroktoysky Bridge is the fourth chapter in our Altai story — where sound becomes space, and depth becomes time. This part of the grand collection, created in celebration of the third anniversary of [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB], takes the listener further into Altai — to a place where a bridge is not just a road but a state of being, a passage between noise and silence, fear and awe, sound and light. Here, dub techno is no longer just music — it becomes the very space between steps, the vibration of metal, the echo below, the reflection of the sky in the water. It is the sound of balance — recorded at altitude, above the river, above time itself.

Tm Shuffle comes from the forests of Ruutana, Finland. His passion for music started in early 90's and his record collection and musical vision has grown since those times. He runs Vuo records, having released music from Trevor Deep Jr, Stardub, Ohm, Kalle-M, Octaedre, himself and many more. In his productions as well as DJ sets the spotlight is always on the music. His sound is a sum of all those felt bassdrum kicks, which have been plenty. You could call it dubtechno but it's more; it's 4am moods and endless grooves, filtered delays and rolling hihats. Sometimes techno, sometimes house, most times something beyond.
