Welcome everybody, 

A brief bit about me, 

I started making music around 18 years ago. More for fun than anything else. I can remember showing my friends things I made using Reason - which had a bunch of crappy loops and virtual synths - Thinking they were the sh*t, but actually the tracks were just terrible 😂😂😂😂 

Luckily however, my friends were brutally honest and I decided to actually learn something, so I went to college to study music production for a few years

During college I met lots of people and also collaberated with an MC called Th!NK on an album we released in 2011 which is still available today, I'll post all the links below 

Following the release of that album I then stopped making music and focused on my personal life until the famous lockdown scenario. I started playing guitar again, which led me to want to record the ideas i was having but I lacked a studio to record at.

2023 

I began building my home studio with renewed purpose. My new synth and drum machine were the perfect start to go with my guitar - I was originally planning to make some old school hip hop beats and thats about it. 

Yet having a drum machine like the  Aruria Drumbrute2 was a game changer and I started experimenting with different genres like house, electronic and techno.

I sent some rough tracks to a friend who was a local dj and we started working together in my studio going by the name WOTDJS, we put in a lot of hours and within a short space of time we had our first album signed with a small label called Tekno4life

2024 - A Claymore is born

I chose the name Claymore Cuts this year as a nod to my Scottish blood and it's a fun play on words as well, if you know you know :p

Dario Peteiro is the man behind Inconsciente Colectivo, a name taken from the rave collective he belonged to back in time in Madrid, Spain. 
He's previously been running Disorder Edinburgh and The Unconscious Collective / TUC Radio show, playing such an assorted music styles, including but not limited to: Slow-Mo, Dark Disco, Acid, Techno, even Electro or Breaks.

Gerry Son & The Smokin’ Gun were formed in Stirling, Scotland in July 2019, by producers & multi instrumentalists Gerard McGlade (Gerry Son) & Roddy MacKenzie (Roddy Gun) with the collective passion for making dark, sexy, rock music that crosses genres, ages & races. They are joined live by bassist Aaron Hobkirk and drummer Riki Hobkirk & have received critical acclaim for their albums & live shows
"We want to make music to fill that void created by modern life", Gerry Son, 2019. 

They would describe their music as Alternative Rock or "Food for the Soul". The band are eclectic in their influence ranging from 60s Pop, Rock, Funk & Experimental. Their music is exciting and feel-good, packed with thought provoking lyrics often tounge-in-cheek humour & a message empowering to any listener who feels they don't have a voice. The band have previously cited The Beatles, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Foo Fighters, Kate Bush & Steely Dan amongst their favourite artists. 

Since their debut, Gerry Son & The Smokin’ Gun have become known for their sing-along anthems & wild energetic live performances, playing to audiences of thousands their repertoire of foot stomping, arena chanting songs.

As of Summer 2024 the band are currently recording their fourth album, the follow up to their 3rd Studio album, the highly acclaimed, Scottish Album of the year nominated “Gallus In Wonderland”.
