Synth Band Dot Com (synthband.com) is an improvisational multi-instrumentalist sound collective. We either meet in-person and hastily record direct to stereo on a JamHub or sometimes go remote virtualtime using Jamtaba and NINJAM.  Fun stuff. 

Synth Band Dot Com’s improvisational sounds are predicated upon these premises: We don’t discuss sounds we’re about to make. Performers switch instruments between most tracks/sessions. Sometimes even in the middle of the session. (More recent uploads combine all sessions from an evening, omitting interstitial silence.)

A Synth Band Dot Com track from the 20180816 sessions was featured in SOV anthology film: Zombarella's House of Whorrors.

An excerpt from the synthband.com jam known as 20211212. I’m attempting to mix this section better for eventual use on a friend’s biking YT channel - but I'm a halfass producer. Let me know if you have any mix feedback. Bass too high? Bass to low? I’m near clueless.

Tony and Dan were making some noise. Andy stopped by randomly. Recorded direct to stereo on the Jamhub. I.e. no mixing/producing. It is what it is.

Andy on drums first, then Tony, then Dan.
We also took turns on the two noise stations and the Hydrasynth.
Good times. Weird noises.

2. Hydrasynth + bass into pedals
3. various noise toys into pedals
4. guitar into pedals

Didn't start trying to live-mix the recording a bit until a way's in, but It still sounds fun at the beginning when you can't hear any drums/bass. ;)
