@waynettewaynette is a Berlin-based DJ and Producer. The jamaican-barbadian artist started creating music in 2006. Main influences in her sound come from early rave days, from mainly attending Warehouse, Psychedelic Trance, Drum n Bass, and Hardcore/Gabber Parties. 
 
As producer her style can be described as wildly different - alternately touching on house, techno, electro and experimental tunes.  She has a reputation in Berlin's underground circuit performing at underground raves & clubs. WAYNETTE is resident and one of the core members of the Rave Atlas Family.

Since that fateful day, her work has been defined by a tremendous sense of wonder and freedom. Originally from the city of Heidelberg, she came to Berlin in 2011 to study fashion. Waynette discovered the DJ circuit during her time at school and began to play records on the side. Picking up traction on the club scene, her musical style and record collection was developing rapidly. It didn't take long for her unique approach on techno to come to fruition. She soon found herself completely immersed in her music. From her super raw music productions to her sharp eye for fashion, Waynette is a unique character in the techno world.

Her sets are identified by a bold sound curve with bassy house, mixed with acid and trance induced sounds. Josiane is the co-founder of What a Playground, a collective with Lena Brecht, they host a regular radio show at @refugeworldwide and curate events. Additionally, Josiane hosts a monthly podcast titled “Private PAradise” @private.paradise_fm on @komrad.net_ .
