The ngāhere/forest whispered this rhythm to me recently

I was lucky enough to record some beautiful traditional instruments with Willow Creations that are hand made by him (ig @willow.creations) that feature in the start and late in the track.

The opening lines are spoken by my amazing partner (@earth.nektar) translated from words that came to me directly as i was in the finishing stages of this piece. This to me was a direct, clear message from God / The all / The great spirit.

Feeling very blessed with this one; the collab elements with two dear people in my life;
The first proper recording with a sacred yidaki/didjeridoo I've recently become kaitiaki of (an instrument I haven't been able to play in over 2 years because of a lung injury; so this is a special moment for I..)
And what emotions this sparks inside.

Forest Return

Devolution of Man was a party thrown by the Heavenly Creatures Soundsystem; a hand-built paraflex rig from my hometown Ōhinehou, Lyttelton, New Zealand. 

I played this through Ableton to close the party; a mix of breakcore, psycore, and slambient with a bunch of tracks from myself and my friends.

Been thinking about Tommy and loss and a whole bunch of dark heavy stuff. decided to make a big scary 190 bpm track for old mate. I reckon he would have had a blast shaking tail to it.
