Coming all the way from Tel-Aviv via Istanbul, T-Puse and Menachem 26 join up for their inaugural drop on A Tribe Called Kotori with their lush and chugging collaborative debut, "Stav". Blending in the swaying roll of classic Middle-Eastern folk with processed club artillery, the pair develop a sound that pays a honest and forward-pushing tribute to the area's time-withstanding harmonics, throwing their all in casting a more modern light on secular musical tropes and reconfiguring them into vivid, EBM-oriented club material that lacks neither oomph nor soul, that is for sure.

Breaking the EP in, "Agafay" beckons us onto a hybrid pathway, astride tensile body workout wares and more oneiric-flavoured off-piste. As altered caravan rock riffs collide with snake charmers' melodies, further emphasis is laid on the potent but nimble bass which coordinates the groove to correspondingly hypnotic effect. All in opaque contours and brooding trompe-l'oeil at first, "Stav" treats us to a myrrh-scented bouquet of 21st century-ready bazaar churn, switching over lithely from steel-clad sturdiness to silken oriental belly-dance sensuality, via hi-impact techno bites and graceful electro muscle. Geared up for total floor-sweeping action, T-Puse & Menachem's maiden offering singles itself out as a precious DJ weapon, whether you opt for the opener's quirky swagger or the lead-single's eruptive voltage.

trueColors is a deep and melodic record label with a focus on organic sounds, and the imprint's new release is a three-track compilation featuring music by Monolink, Zigan Aldi, Umami and Inámo who have all previously worked with trueColors.

Following the groundbreaking Foresight series, trueColors offers a deeper look into some unreleased material from prominent names on the label, works which stood the test of time with Insight Volume One.

Along with the previously unreleased 'Instrumental Mix' of Monolink and Zigan Aldi's track "Fidale (I Feel)" the release also includes a new remix by Inámo of Monolink and Umami's track "Terra Mount," and Umam provides a new remix of "Ahget" by Zigan Aldi.

Monolink is a German producer, musician and vocalist who combines live instrumentation and heartfelt lyrics with electronic beats. Along with his many solo tracks, he is also a regular collaborator known for working with other prestigious artists such as Ben Bohmer. Alongside his previous music on trueColors, he has also featured his enchanting style on other record labels such as Embassy One, Anjunadeep, Cercle Records and Afterlife Records.

Collaborating with Monolink on the track "Terra Mount" is German duo Umami, who combine electronic music production with acoustic guitar to create mesmerising tracks. Not only have they previously featured on trueColors, but they have also signed music to labels ranging from 3000 Grad to Katermukke. Umami also provides a mystical organic house remix of Zigan Aldi's solo track "Ahget."

Zigan Aldi is a German artist who features a solo track, plus a collaboration with Monolink called "Fidale (I Feel) (Instrumental Mix)" that is in the compelling style of organic house he has featured on other imprints such as Do Not Sit, Underyourskin Records and The Gardens of Babylon.

Inámo is an American organic house artist whose music has been a regular feature of trueColors and Earthly Delights. He showcases the melodic side of his sound with an upbeat remix of "Terra Mount" by Umami and Monolink.

With early support from Nick Warren, Sabo, Jonas Rathsman, Dave Seaman, Robbie Akbal, and Be Svendsen, this wonderful release is a collection of previously unreleased remixes and alternative versions, which combine deep atmospherics with melodic grooves and heartwarming melodies. There are also the flowing rhythms of Afro house and tribal percussion showcasing a new take on the trueColors catalogue and some of the artists that have helped shape the imprint's sound.

Sol Selectas proudly presents the debut solo EP from rising Egyptian talent MÖW, featuring three original tracks and a remix by fellow Egyptian artist and Sol Selectas alum, Hot Oasis. This EP blends traditional Egyptian sounds and ancient musical scales with a modern electronic flair, resulting in irresistibly danceable tracks that feel both timeless and cutting-edge. Its a fresh unique sound, which steers away from the obvious Afro House sample pack drums,  focusing more on true drum rhythms native to the region where this EP was born.

“Hayyah featuring Nass Makan“ opens the EP with a beautiful long intro played on the classic Mizmir Baladi instrument, taking us deep into the desert to a festive celebration. Pulsating bass and sharp percussion keep the song moving, and the romantic lyrics from Nass Makan are a flirtatious serenade to a beautiful woman. 

“Ya Habayeb” is a powerful track utilizing the oriental “bayat” scale, and showcases the classic instruments of zurna, oud, duff, riq, and tabla. The gorgeous oud solo on the breakdown perfectly balances with the rhythmic percussion and layered synth sounds to ignite the dance floor.  

The remix from Hot Oasis of “Ya Habayeb” is equally as strong, leaning more into an indie dance groove, focusing on the zurna instrument on the break, and adding his signature synth stab rhythmic grooves. 

And finally we finish with “Disco Saba”, a fun Indie Organic  tune interpreting the traditional “Saba” melodic scale. The funky arpeggios sound like analog synths, but are actually played live on the Zurna and Mizmir instruments. The infectious  breakdown awakens the dance floor packing a powerful but playful punch. 

The artwork by Helia Jamali takes us through the lucid dreamscape of the pyramids where the serpents dance in the sand and the blue lotus flower blossoms.
