ΨΗΧΟΣ | PSICHOS
ΨΗΧΟΣ is a collage project using field recordings, and mixing elements of musique concréte, audio narration and sound art. The first EP, Orchestra of Noise, is a collection of field recordings recorded between 2017 and 2018, with sounds from Athens, Trikala at Easter, Meteora mountain monasteries, Partheni village in Arkadia, Prague and more. The name joins the Greek words for "cold" (ψύχος) and "sound" (ήχος).
New album in the works, set for release Summer 2025, with field recordings made from 2018-2025, from Iceland and Greece.
