Madloch's Sound Avenue imprint opens the Spring season by presenting the fifth installment of it's 'Correlation' series. Released in August of 2017, the inaugural edition featured a unique blend of untapped talent along with industry veterans, resulting in a cohesive fusion of artists from across the world. The label's borderless music policy was also well represented, showcasing a wide spectrum of electronica, from organic house to melodic house and deeper progressive grooves. Released in 2020, the label's third edition landed with resounding success, as the lead selection 'Kafka' by Ercos Blanka racked up over two and a half million Spotify plays across the year. In past editions, Sound Avenue has kept the track selection concise, with an average of just ten submissions making the final release. The continued growth of label affiliates 3rd Avenue, Crossfade Sounds, and Future Avenue have propelled the label's demo submissions exponentially across the last year. Add to that, a continually expanding music policy, and the 2022 edition of ‘Correlation' was finalized with a hefty thirty-two selections. Added to the label's club-centric sounds are shades of electronica, dubbed out techno, and more, making the fifth installment of the series it's most far-reaching and satisfying to date.

For our latest release we’ve pulled out a firm favourite at the label from Audioglider and given it the remix treatment… And we’ve gone big…

So big, we had to then do it as a 2 part release…

First up we have Given a personal favourite to none other than RIGOONI.. RIGOONI needs no introduction to our world of music fans. Hes released on a huge amount of labels including Anjunadeep and is a constant headliner around the globe.. And what he has done here to an already stunning original is breathtaking and has already been gaining support from a handful of promos across the white Isle, Hernan Cattaneo & Gorje Hewek.. 

We then handed Splintered Lightning to Domingo + . Chris has interpreted the original into a percussive hypnotic organic masterpiece as His Domingo + Loveclub guise.. Again, Domingo + has given us something very special..

To then balance the styles, as I like to do, Escapologists Return was handed to someone I’ve admired for a long time.. Sean Mcclellan was keen to keep the darker progressive style of the original, but interpreting it into his own.. Percussive progressive house for a darker room.. Play it Loud……

This remix package is out on all platforms on Friday 17th November to all sites…

Bio:
Alain M.'s weekly podcast, Ottawa Prog Vibes, regularly charts on Mixcloud's Canadian Top 100 Electronica shows and receives regular contributions from producers from around the world. His mixing has been noted as particularly creative and smooth, a skill that allow his sets to be experienced as seamless stories. Alain M. started dj’ing in his early 20s and played a variety of clubs, big and small, in Ottawa, Montreal and Kingston. From teenage influences in progressive rock, metal and blues, and later New York and Chicago house, Dutch techno and early trance, his style has evolved towards the more melodic, infectiously rhythmic and thoughtful sounds of progressive house, with a fondness for Argentinian productions. Inspired by prog rock, early Dutch techno, 1990’s trance and New York house, his tastes have evolved towards progressive house, with a particular fondness for Argentinian productions.

Over his 25+ years as a DJ, Alain has cultivated a signature melodic, danceable, and thoughtful style with enough surprises to keep even the most devout listeners on their toes. His live events, organized only a few times annually, are a hypotonic, transformational experience for attendees, putting the Nation’s Capital on the map for electronic music. Even while providing a sought-after, niche experience, Alain intrinsically understands the value of an intelligent radius, making him a refreshingly strategic act to booking agents. He has organized and collaborated in a number of events including Levitar, Sunday Meet & Beat, and Ottawa Prog Nights, attracting a thoughtful crowd who stay mesmerized by his melodic, danceable sets, always peppered with delightfully unexpected sonic elements. He is working on live and broadcast projects through the difficult COVID lockdowns, always as permitted by applicable health restrictions.

Alain M. is also a guest DJ submitting regular sets to several radio and online outlets. DJ Radio, on Progressive Barcelona and on Progressive House Perú. In Canada, he has been featured as a guest DJ by Ottawa-based Music.Art.Ppl, on CHUO FM’s Vanguard Pulse Radio and on CKCU FM's Lost In Bass. He has also appeared several times on New York-based Chill Lover Radio.

Bio:
Jero Nougues, Argentinean based DJ & producer born in 1993. He got attracted by melodies and strong drums and percussion from the Progressive House scene at a young age, listening to artists of the like of Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Luke Chable, 16 Bit Lolitas, to name a few. He started producing and DJing at the young age of 13, self-taught and extremely curious about electronic music and how it was made he decided to learn and experiment all by himself. Professionally and officially speaking his production work started being released around the year 2013. His music has been played and supported by artists like Hernan Cattaneo, Gabriel Ananda, Nick Warren, Danny Howells, Mind Against, Nicolas Rada, Antrim, Tim Penner, Ruben De Ronde, CREAM, & many more. He now manages a label called Arcedian together with Jerry Chiu's Droid9 owner, showcasing talents from the progressive house scene worldwide. He has been DJing and hosting radiio shows for about 10+ years, going from Deep House/Organic House and Chill Out/Downtempo to more upbeat sub-genres like Progressive House and Melodic Techno.
