The reissue of classic and seminal releases from the Tresor catalogue comes round to Waveform Transmission Vol. 2 by "The Vision" aka Robert Hood which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. 

Released in the same year he left UR and his hometown of Detroit, Waveform Transmission Vol. 2 represents a pivotal moment in Hood's career as his move to New York with fellow UR co-founder Jeff Mills led to Hood experimenting with a new work ethos through which he settled on his trademark sound. 

Fast, aurally assaulting, yet funky - the release is techno as effective as it can possibly be; in this version, remastered by Thomas P. Heckmann, we see the first results of his transmutation as Hood manipulates the raw sounds he would soon distil into seminal works like Internal Empire and Minimal Nation. 

Ever philosophical and spiritual, in the sleeve notes for the release Hood dedicated the release "to the form of simplicity[,] the reasoning of vision[,] the understanding of where we came from and how we got here and to the perspective we use to construct over destiny" - words which from our early 2020s vantage point almost foresee the influence this intuitive work would have on artists working from Birmingham to Berlin and beyond over the next three decades.

"Noaidi is a recently founded techno-project with roots in the northern mythology. The name, Noaidi, refers to the traditional spiritual guide in Sami Shamanism. With help of rhythmic drumming and a chanting mantra, an effort is made to transcend beyond our physical being in order to uncover and nurture our free soul.

Noaidi’s first release, Nordic Derail EP, is the first unique sound released on the Berlin-based record-label, Under Oath. It is a four-track journey in-between darkness and light, bringing you on a journey through threatening soundscapes with recurring relief in sight, like the night train arriving at its destinations in the platform light."

Born in Denmark, but currently based in Paris, Rask is a 23 years old producer and a DJ. After many years of exploring and experimenting with electronic music and with his older brother Floes helping him to learn ways in producing he started making his own music. Rask is taking the inspiration from his surroundings, back in Denmark and currently in France where the scenes are quite contrasting yet alike. This adds up to a textural fast paced universe that can take a few unexpected turns.

This mix by Rask is a representation of these influences and inspirations, therefore it takes a journey through a few different styles, and includes some unreleased material from some very talented friends in Paris and back home in Denmark.

Liarsenic is a Mexican Disc Jockey and Producer passionate for the audio. He was born and raised in the industrial city of Queretaro, place where he forged his musical taste and style, passing through an era of non-danceable music like hardcore, metal, trip hop, and dub reggae to name a few.

Inspired by the sound and culture of the early 00s and late 90s, Liarsenic launches his first material year 2021 on a mexican label, followed by a series of podcasts, remixes and original tracks that had evolved in sound and quality, but maintaining the energetic and percussive style that he has crafted along the years.

His work can be found in labels like Hynospital Sounds (Col), KPLR Label (Mex), TNR Media (Col), Ushuaia Music (Budapest) among other great techno labels.

In addition to his DJ Set, Liarsenic also runs the heavy duties on Pure Nrgy, a mobile dancefloor and techno music community established in Queretaro, Mexico since 2022.
