Fanontale is an AU that takes inspiration from Undertale fanon perceptions by using it to influence the roles the beloved characters take, as well as manifesting in-universe, affecting the characters and their stories.
This is not an Undertale AU about "What if Undertale fanon was good", but rather one that seeks to answer the question of "what if fanon perceptions had direct consequences for the lives these characters live?"

With Monsters believing in the prophesy of The Absolute, a lot of them are pretty scared of Chara, knowing they could potentially be the downfall of their kind. It is, of course, up to Chara to decide what to do about this fear. Do they fight it? Or do they fight 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮?
