One day, genocide broke out between the two races.
After a long, hard battle, the humans emerged victorious.
They sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell.
The monsters lived with fear, fueled by their anger towards their unjust banishment.
Decades passed...

Legends speak of a carnivorous race of monsters that lurk underground, feasting on those that climb the mountain.
Some were curious to view this ferality for themselves.

F: (Somebody looks clueless.)
F: Well, uh, if you really don't know. I guess little ol' me will have to catch you up to date on things.
F: Howdy! I'm Flowey, Flowey the Flower!

(AFTER BATTLE)

F: Say, you aren't half bad. You been in any fights before or something?
F: Well, regardless of how good you are at fights, it's best if you tread lightly going forward.
F: The caretaker of the place up ahead, TORIEL... let's just say you don't want to get her attention.
F: I'll need to tag along with you to make sure you don't screw anything up. Let me onto your shoulder, why don't you?

* Flowey joined the party!

F: What's your name, kid?
F: ...ORION?
F: That's, uh...a nice name.

* You look around the deserted, expanding halls that incase you in its terror.
* It's silent, but...you wouldn't say abandoned. More like the place is holding its breath.
 
(Flowey pops out from under the ground.)

F: You've been spotted by a couple of monsters already. Let's try not to get any trouble going forward, okay, pal?
F: They seem to be more afraid of you than you are of them, anyways.
F: In a worst-case scenario they might alert Toriel if you pull any tricky moves, but I doubt they'd be desperate enough to do that...right?

004 - Quiet And Ruined

F: Crap, she's coming!
F: If it were just me, I'd burrow, but... yeah.
F: Quick, behind this pillar!

(You and Flowey choose to hide behind a pillar. Toriel steps into view.)

T: Hello? I could have sworn there was someone here...
T: If you are who I think you are. Know that we do not take kindly to humans down here.
T: You will put yourself into less trouble now if you choose to reveal yourself sooner rather than later.
