Subterranea is back with our 57th episode, young talented artist all the way from Kandy, Dulmin Sarinda. He is a refined and refreshing talent making strides in the realms of Progressive house and many more. 🎇

Dulmin Sarinda, Introduced to music through the love for string melodies which gradually became a hobby to compose and write music. This further allowed him to explore new sound where he was introduced to genres such as Organic, Progressive and Melodic House where he soon adapted to the hypnotic blend of general organic and electronic sound. 🎚️

After a few years of learning the art of mixing and blending harmonic elements Dulmin made his first public appearance instantly grabbing the attention of many. Since he has been able to perform alongside the most lethal Progressive Artists in the island of Sri Lanka as well as some outstanding International Artists. He includes a mix of dark, rhythmic and groovy progressive sound along with hypnotic organic sound to create a deep and emotional musical journey. 💡

Underground Colombo (UC) was envisioned by Kushan Dissanayake, and his co-founder, Kasun Dissanayake, who is known as Kais D. This dynamic duo, driven by their shared passion for underground music, embarked on this journey together in 2016.

Inspired by the vibrant energy of Sri Lanka's music scene, they had a vision—to cultivate a close-knit community that immersed itself in the rhythms they cherished. Alongside them was their best friend, Buddika Wijebandara, forming an unbreakable trio.

Their first step was the establishment of a Facebook community, a digital haven for kindred spirits, which rapidly flourished and now boasts a dedicated following of 15,000 strong. But that was only the beginning.

Determined to take their passion to the next level, they decided to launch their own SoundCloud page. This expansion was made possible with the unwavering support of Azmara Veera, a pivotal figure in UC's journey. She, along with the team, contributed creative forces that allowed UC to venture into new territories. 

However, UC isn't solely about music; it's a dynamic, all-encompassing experience. They added a unique visual and editorial flair to UC, making it an aesthetic delight.
