It’s time for a bang again! Please welcome @weirdsoundingdude DJ/producer from India who delivers us some serious banging tracks! bang it out! Subterrânea’s 28th EP and another bumper collection of super-fresh progressive melody undercarriage to create something quite unique.

Life is about evolving and as it happens with a lot of artists, only DJ’ing wasn’t enough for Weird Sounding Dude's musical odyssey, so he embarked on a journey to prove his worth as a self-taught music producer. In a very short span of time, Weird Sounding Dude became a regular on the charts of Beatport, and his music went onto gain continuous support from some of the top renowned artists.

He was also nominated for the MyFav Awards for the years 2014-15 and 2015-16. Weird Sounding Dude's 'Hyper Dream' track was picked as track of the year by Above & Beyond's Tony Mcguinness during his interview with Sky News for the year 2021.

Weird Sounding Dude also hosts two radio shows, the first show is called 'sinetone' a monthly curated podcast that airs exclusively on Proton Radio every second Monday of the month. The second show is a very special bi-monthly curated podcast exclusive for Spotify and Apple Music called "Orbis". Depois de entrar na música eletrônica como gerente de eventos nos principais clubes no início dos anos 2000, Sinan começou a organizar suas próprias festas, muitas vezes ocupando a cabine de DJ, porém decidiu priorizar a organização das festas e deixou a discotecagem em segundo plano. 

Em 2017, venceu o concurso Housekeeper, uma das principais formações da cena da música eletrônica de Istambul, e decidiu fazer a transição profissional para DJ. Começou tocando em clubes e festivais de Ancara e Istambul e logo começou a produzir faixas, no início de 2019.

Sendo um dos poucos representantes do House Progressivo em seu país, já colaborou em quase 100 faixas de 25 selos diferentes, incluindo gravadoras líderes, como Mango Alley, Soundteller e Dopamine, contando com suportes de quase todos os importantes DJs e produtores do gênero.

Underground Colombo (UC) was envisioned by Kushan Dissanayake, and his co-founder, Kasun Dissanayake, who is known as Kais D. This dynamic duo, driven by their shared passion for underground music, embarked on this journey together in 2016.

Inspired by the vibrant energy of Sri Lanka's music scene, they had a vision—to cultivate a close-knit community that immersed itself in the rhythms they cherished. Alongside them was their best friend, Buddika Wijebandara, forming an unbreakable trio.

Their first step was the establishment of a Facebook community, a digital haven for kindred spirits, which rapidly flourished and now boasts a dedicated following of 15,000 strong. But that was only the beginning.

Determined to take their passion to the next level, they decided to launch their own SoundCloud page. This expansion was made possible with the unwavering support of Azmara Veera, a pivotal figure in UC's journey. She, along with the team, contributed creative forces that allowed UC to venture into new territories. 

However, UC isn't solely about music; it's a dynamic, all-encompassing experience. They added a unique visual and editorial flair to UC, making it an aesthetic delight.

Underground Colombo on SoundCloud is more than just a platform; it's a testament to the commitment and dedication of these individuals and the community they've nurtured. The beats, melodies, and sonic landscapes come to life through this collaborative effort.
