Simos Tagias was born and raised in 1982 in the city of Serres, located in the North of Greece. His name has been well connected with high quality electronic dance music since 2012, from Progressive to Tech House and Techno.

He first started getting experience in House music and rhythms in the mid 1990s, a passion for the music that lead him into performing his very first mixes as a DJ in private, underground parties.

His love for Electronic music expanded while working on his very first studio projects in the early 2010s, which quickly attracted the interests of labels like Change Audio, Modu and Lynx Records. This has continued right up to the present day, Simos can now count top class releases on labels like Proton, UV/FSOE, Sudbeat, Clubsonica , Beatfreak Recordings and Movement Recordings. These tracks receive great support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Cid Inc, Guy J, Sasha, John Digweed and more!

The last year has seen important gigs starting up in the Greek scene, in the north such as Movement Events @ Block33 (Thessaloniki), and Bloque Festival(Kavala). Here Simos shares the decks with artists from around the world including Guy J, Moshic, Luis Junior, Scotty A, Navar, Estroe and more.

Nowadays, Simos gets busy working on limited and well-focused studio projects, as well as these gigs around the country. There is news and projects to be seen and heard in the near future, so keep an eye on him!

Chris Cargo started his production career in the late 1990s, and is best known for his Progressive, Deep and Melodic House vibes. Indeed, Chris has almost 200 productions to his name, on labels such as Automatic Records, The Soundgarden, Plattenbank, Armada Music, Kosmo, Mango Alley, Movement, and his own label – If You Wait - amongst others. His music has been showcased by DJ giants including  John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Danny Howells, Steve Lawler, Nick Warren, Laurent Garnier, and Carl Cox.

On the DJ circuit, Chris has toured around the world, from Shangai to Zurich, Amsterdam, Moscow, Kuala Lampur and Paris.

ARTIST BIO

As Music Producers from Pakistan, on early days, Muhammad Faisal Maqbool aka. (Stereo Munk) started working with basic Musical applications and other mixing techniques into his productions. Following some years he gained his interest in DJing as well, and that allowed to evaluate him self to another parallel that helped them excel in acing his musical productions to a much better scale. His Genre / Style is always DEEP/PROGRESSIVE/TECH/ from TECHNOto HOUSE or any modern-day Electronic Music Styles that makes him no bound to limit himself to a one typical genre for the need of the time.He has released few of his creations on different platforms and got a good appreciation from labels / artists and Social Media friends from various different regions that has given him a tight control to maintain sonic quality of sounds that helped him overcome in every obstacles he faced in his mastering techniques, and in future he is looking to maintain the same to push himself further into this music business.


The show aires every 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month from 4PM to 5PM at UK time on @saturosounds radio.

Grooves and Moves 003 | Stereo Munk

Underground Colombo (UC) was envisioned by Kushan Dissanayake, and his co-founder, Kasun Dissanayake, who is known as Kais D. This dynamic duo, driven by their shared passion for underground music, embarked on this journey together in 2016.

Inspired by the vibrant energy of Sri Lanka's music scene, they had a vision—to cultivate a close-knit community that immersed itself in the rhythms they cherished. Alongside them was their best friend, Buddika Wijebandara, forming an unbreakable trio.

Their first step was the establishment of a Facebook community, a digital haven for kindred spirits, which rapidly flourished and now boasts a dedicated following of 15,000 strong. But that was only the beginning.

Determined to take their passion to the next level, they decided to launch their own SoundCloud page. This expansion was made possible with the unwavering support of Azmara Veera, a pivotal figure in UC's journey. She, along with the team, contributed creative forces that allowed UC to venture into new territories. 

However, UC isn't solely about music; it's a dynamic, all-encompassing experience. They added a unique visual and editorial flair to UC, making it an aesthetic delight.
