His career as a DJ began in 1978 in “Porão da Nau” Disco. From that time on, nightlife became his way of living.

He played in renowned discos and clubs such as: Rock House, Juke Box, Silver Screen, Boogie Woogie, Palm Beach, Decibel, Rockline, Alcântara-Mar, Indústria Porto, Indústria Lisboa, Trumps, Queen’s, W Disco, Locomia, Kiss Algarve, Club Mau Mau, Capítulo V, Katedral, UBI, Rio Café, Nox, Frágil, Paradise Garage, Coconuts, Sound Planet, River Café, Chic, Prozak , Clube Ferroviário, Music Box. Vestigius, Estado Liquido,Hall,Sea Me, Hotel do Bairro Alto, Prego da Peixaria, Origami, Banana Café, Ministerium, Quero-te no Cais, Bar do Cais, Roterdão, Le Chat, Mercearia Tosca, Cariocas do Rio and many others in Portugal.

Alexandre Barbosa has also produced several CD’s such as: Noite Faixa a Faixa, Vol. I and II, Indústria Lisboa, Indústria Porto, Dance Floor, as well as United DJ’s of Portugal - a Double CD and Double Vinyl – where the most important Portuguese DJ’s and producers can be heard.

He was also the frontman and DJ on a wide variety of DJ tours from north to south of Portugal, sponsored by Chevignon, Lois, Café Mambo, Lisboa Café, CAT, Blaupunkt, Heineken among other brands.

At this very moment, he runs his own Record Store, called “SOUND CLUB STORE”,
