The left channel features "Now Positive" by SilverSounds.

Astute listeners (and those who read the title) will notice that the intro of "Shifting 23" is present during the first few seconds of "New Positive".  The full version of "Shifting 23" was released a few weeks later for my disquiet0529 submission.

New Positive [with Shifting 23 intro] (disquiet0526)

Here's my entry for the Producers's Corner Sample Challenge #231. Tried a little different approach on this one... def not the way I 'm used to making beats.

Finaly got myself a copy of Ableton 11 standard and did most of the production of this one in Ableton.  First chops and drums still done on my MPC Touch.

Breath Broth (disquiet0539)

My submission for the Disquiet Junto 0539: Let your slow breathing guide a piece of music.
I recorded my breath and loaded it into Nysthi's Quad Simpler. I derived two melodies, a fast one and a slow bass melody, by applying sample & hold to the recording. The loudness of the recording also controls the brightness of the high melody. And then I introduced two more melodies that may have been inspired by Tangerine Dream's Atem and Pink Floyd's Breathe. The tempo is an approximation of the speed of my breath, but since my breathing is not perfectly regular, there is no strict rhythm in the whole piece.
