Last night I had the honour and pleasure of playing a back room on PDM's AUS tour. At first I thought: why would anyone come to my stage when PDM's in the building? But I realised something: a superstar brings all the fans together and until the big man takes the stage, the crowd belongs to anyone! Actually, being in a side room gave me the freedom to take chances. I got deep, I got a tiny bit techy and of course I played some feel-good disco/classics, to get the party going
