During Kremwerk's 8th Anniversary Celebration we had Rachel come play after hearing a set by her that really fit our Back of the House aesthetic. She didn't disappoint and gave us a pitch perfect performance solidifying her as one of Seattle's natural selectors. We are privileged to be one of her earliest live performances!!

Track selections lean heavily toward electronic sounds with a focus on Ethnofusion, Glitch, Dub, House, West Coast Bass, as well as some really chilled, mellow music which some could describe as Ambient.

Born in Cleveland, OH, Rachel Vick grew up within sounds of classic, folk, and alternative rock. She developed a strong sense of songwriting and melody from her time spent in piano lessons and choir rehearsals throughout her school years. She would go on to write songs on the acoustic guitar and gig in pubs, which sparked a soul mission to share the music within. The stars aligned when she later became engrossed in the indie electronic genre, leading her to the bliss and freedom of house music. 

Now thriving in Seattle, Rachel takes the stage with intention and passion, whether to sing along to her own music, or to set the tempo for the party as a DJ. Her productions combine bright and playful melodies with driving house percussion, fusing songwriting skill and passion for house and indie dance music. She has releases on Popgang Records, Late Night Munchies, Uniting Souls, Tilted, and Feral One Recordings, and has provided support for artists including Soichi Terada, Black Loops, Chez Damier, Jaques Greene, Ardalan, and Kettama.

We are a small Seattle based House and Techno label focused on curating a varied and unique blend of releases with the feel and sounds we love from dance music.
