We had our 6th "international" session with a talented progressive guy, who accepted our request to be our host, and invite 3 more artists from his country. Fine Beats goes to Poland hosted by CJ Art.

Piotr Sarnecki, also known as Deersky, was born in Radom, Poland. Music has been part of his life since childhood. His love for electronic music began in 1995, when he first heard the sounds of Aphex Twin, Kraftwerk, Rober Miles, Underworld, Moby, Paul Oakenfold, and The Prodigy. His love for music manifested itself not only in the passion for djing. In 2011 Pete in cooperation with Noa Romana released the first EP "Streaming” [Underground City Music]. Since that moment he has released a number of records on labels such as Mistique Music, Crossfade Sounds, and Stellar Fountain. 2012 was a breakthrough in his career. He came back to Poland and after years of experience on the scene he decided to start his own label, Soundteller Records.

We have known her for a long time; coming a long way from South Africa, characterizing herself from her not so hidden poetic side, to her wonderful sets and musical productions, she has earned a well deserved and established reputation of truly playing amazing sets. We are truly pleased to welcome her to our podcast series.

What an extraordinary time in Poland. I have too many words for the amazing times we shared in what is truly a magical forest. The Saturday evening has to be one of my favorite solo shows of the past century. It means so much to me to see so many wonderful anomalies come out and support me and scintillate in such a loving, wild, harmonious manner. 

Thank you all for this beautiful experience, the flow, this rare space in between emotions and thoughts. The biggest of thanks to the Kater & Bachstelzen family, the american gato's, Julia and the entire booking office and off course Britta for making this moment possible.

Ein untypisches Weihnachtsfest

Die Weihnachtszeit hat heute ihren Höhepunkt erreicht. Das Fest ist in diesem Jahr definitiv ganz anders, als es sonst so war. Der Kreis wird auf die engsten Familienmitglieder beschränkt und innerhalb der heimischen Vierwände, sich beschenkt. So manche Tradition wird diese Weihnachten gebrochen, so haben die Kirchen und Gebetshäuser kollektiv geschlossen. Vieles läuft an diesem Heiligabend ungewöhnlich ab, doch so manches bleibt auch altvertraut. Geschenke laden unterm Baum, und auf den Weihnachtsumtrunk verzichten die Meisten, wohl kaum. Es wird gut gegessen und viel gelacht, irgendwie wird aus eigenartig, dann doch passend gemacht. Man nennt Weihnachten nicht umsonst Zeit der Besinnlichkeit, also lasst uns dankbar sein für Familie, Freunde, Wohlstand und Gesundheit.

Der heutige Podcast ist eine Weihnachts-Spezialausgabe bereitgestellt und gemixt von Käpt‘n 12 & Düsentrieb. Damit Euch in den Feiertagen nicht der akustische Sprit ausgeht, läuft die 185 satte 4 Stunden und 12 Minuten lang. Ein roter Faden schlängelt sich unverkennbar von Track zu Track. I don't even know when exactly I heard a mix from him for the first time. It must have been 3 or even 4 years ago, it was https://soundcloud.com/ldsroom 's channel and I was impressed by his Shift II mix. I lost sight of him and didn't look for him either - too many fish swim in the ocean and the captain likes to lose his leg or even one or the other artist out of sight. Well, once again I was browsing through LDS's history and heard YEM's mix sets "cruel" and "Timberland" 3 or 2 years ago and was thrilled again. I don't know exactly what it is, but YEM grabs me with the way he sets up the mix sets. Anyway, A lot of water flowed into the sea and it took another 2 years before we got together ... For many is a 4 hours set a lot of time, for others it is a short introduction to their music collection.

YEM's words for you:
I'm just a man who likes listening and collecting music in his mixes.
This time i went back in to the tunes of past few years and compilated a set of  those that are still Music to my ears. Suspect that this type of flow was considered to be called "Deep". So let us try to dive back and reminisce how it sounded. Most of the tracks should be recognizable, but since it turned out that I was the person who pressed the buttons and twisted the knobs while recording, some stylistic interference may be noticed. Hope somebody will find this journey interesting. But that's really not important as much as people's health and peaceful living around our planet.
