His signature style flows from the use of dusty machines dating back further than himself. Including many limitations in his process, inspiration is bound to erupt, and you clearly hear it on this record.

We are very happy to welcome our dear friend Sancra. After his set at our after party at 8sixA, including our favourite track “Exodus”, we decided to collaborate for a release on Undersound Recordings.

The EP opens with "Oblivion," a track that delivers a pure dance floor energy, elevated by celestial melodies. Next is "Androgena," a deep and dark journey into the heart of Acid-Techno, elegant yet complex. On the B-side, "Exodus" brings a neotrance vibe, blending electro sounds with spiritual pads. The EP closes with "Until We Arrive," a slow-paced live jam that brings a sense of inner peace.

Spincycle records presents the second imprint on their label - a two track split EP from Neil E & Big City Bill on 180g heavyweight vinyl.

Bill and Neil met deep in the mountains 20 years ago.
With work drying up in the mountains, they tobogganed into the city to find their calling.

For years in dim garages, they studied with diligence strange hieroglyphs projected on the wall by the reflection of fluorescent lamps through emptied vessels.

At first, none of it made sense. All they knew was that it was important.
They began posting their findings online, and after a time of thinking they may have gone crazy, they began to receive anonymous messages: “Click here to join a [guild] of amazing artists: [link redacted].”; "Follow me, and I'll follow you back. Let's grow together!”; “Do you want 10k+ follows? We can help!"

This was the encouragement they had been waiting so eagerly for. And so on they went. They joined a few guilds and continued to hone their practice, mining their depths, searching for that ineffable thing, whatever it was, wherever it was locked away.

After years of deep contemplation, the breaking of sacred tools, fiddling around, and the collection of various bevelled talismans, a revelation struck.

Two fantastic thoughts struck them both simultaneously.

These are those thoughts.

As an integral part of The Cause family it was only right to have EYA’s very own Jos down for last year’s Birthday. The man behind All My Friends record shop and its community, always bringing the right energy, whether behind the counter or behind the decks. Watching him grow from strength to strength in his own lane has been something special, and his set at our 6th Birthday last year was a perfect reflection of that.

“During the set, I tried to build a raw and dynamic mix of emotions to represent the unique and diverse spirit of The Cause bday,” Jos says. “I felt comfortable pushing boundaries, surrounded by dancers and people I work and share moments with on a daily basis.” And that’s exactly what he did, blending deep, Italo-tinged cuts with rolling grooves, locking into that perfect balance of raw energy and hypnotic flow.

New London-based label Plasticity Records hits the ground running with a hard-hitting, dancefloor-focused VA featuring four varied tracks, connected by a raw, propulsive sound thread running throughout.

Kicking off the A side is established Barcelona-based duo Nulek & Roto with Eternal Space — a stuttering, pitch-black techno/electro piece featuring an ominous vocal that sends shivers down your spine. Rounding out this side is Study Nights by Uruguayan talent Flhez, leaning heavily into the country’s rich musical tradition with plenty of spooky synths and rough analogue textures.

Over on the B side, Barcelona-based Romanian Mar.C delivers Not Normal — a tough-as-nails, EBM-tinged techno number that’s sure to get any dancefloor moving. Last up is the broken and decidedly wonky Nuclear Era from Lima-based Venezuelan purveyor of all things percussive and leftfield, Acid Charlie.

GNRM’s ‘Zen’ establishes the wavey mood with a splash of classic Soca vocals, while Pakzad takes things even deeper and drippier with ‘I Could Never Imagine’. Eversines brings us bleep n bass on ‘Randomized Controlled Trial’ before the mysterious Oscillator Man’s ‘Turning The Mix Up A Bit’ closes out the EP on a ravey acid high.
