After the success of our first various artists release, ‘The Voice of EKOU’, we’d like to present to you our next installment, ‘The Full Spectrum’. This project started as an idea to create a platform for up and coming producers, however over the previous months has developed into something that has allowed us to include both newcomers and established artists alike. 
	
In the 2 and a half years since our first release, we’ve been on a constant journey through sound, and have been a platform for a variety of artists, all of whom produce a variety of styles under the drum & bass umbrella. With ‘The Full Spectrum’, we hope to showcase our journey for you, our audience; some of you have been with us from the beginning, others are new to the label - either way we hope you know what to expect!

This is our representation of the full spectrum of drum & bass, and what the genre means to us. We hope you enjoy listening to this massive VA just as much as we did putting it together. 

‘The Full Spectrum’ has 22 tracks, split over 2 parts, and features both newcomers and seasoned artists alike. Part 1 drops exclusively on February 4th via Bandcamp and Beatport, followed two weeks later by Part 2 on February 18th.

Almost exactly a year ago we presented you the first edition of a compilation that should unite almost every Drum and Bass subgenre on one sampler. The integrative idea is so appealing that we now follow up with volume 2 and want to present a selection of tracks with different styles again. The protagonists represented here also result in a colorful potpourri of national, transregional and international artists, some of whom have already made a name for themselves on other labels in the meantime. And so we are pleased that some of the producers are represented twice here, such as Scurrow, who provides the framework for the release with his two very different works. His remix for Bassface Sascha’s “Inside The Rabbit Hole (feat. Trinity)” sets the pyramid on fire right at the start of the compilation. Escape impossible! “There Is No Wifi In The Jungle” marks the end: a breaky jungle slammer for heads that want it percussive and can stand a lot of bass as well. In between, of course, there are also techy tracks, e.g. by Clusta, who can add a VIP crown to his mighty “Cave Of Evil”. With Gisix we have a true debutant who sets a real exclamation mark with his expansive “Poppy” including sawtooth synth! Another slammer comes from new signing Kontrakt from Finland. “Network” is a hectic number, metaphorically speaking somewhere between tangled cables and stressed office colleagues. Low Performance also made his debut for us and is here with the grinding “Call Of Cthulhu” that would make every tunnel drill green with envy. The deeper pieces come once again from the favorite Italian Petarda, with Elektronik VIP soaring up to an uplifting sound aesthetic and Petarda actually only initiates us into one of his another dark sound secrets with “Nostalgy”. To round up Addictive Behaviour's fifth year since inception the imprint will be signing out of 2019 with a three track release that sums up just what the label is all about. This, their 40th release, comes from none other than OaT, the German production mastermind who is rapidly rising through the producer ranks and is hotly tipped to become a staple part of the new era of D&B. This second EP with Addictive once again shows OaT's incredible diversity and ability to create a brand new sound across each of these three very unique cuts.  

From the opening, heart pounding and metal sounding reese bass that characterizes 'Expectations' you can tell that OaT bleeds his heart and soul into every element of his productions. This title track from the release is loaded with some serious weight that will resonate in your eardrums for years to come. Then flipping the release on its head, the mysteriously titled '144k' edges in a contrasting vibe of mechanical rolling beats tinged with moody distant vocal stabs, showboating OaTs ingenious production subtleties. And last but not least is 'Conviction' a track which builds and drops just as the title suggests, picking up the pace again with some tight and techy drums complemented by its warped bass. 

Since his debut EP on Addictive OaT has managed to secure releases across a host of outputs and is quickly becoming recognized as a pioneer of new music. Breaking away from the generic cast and bringing a breath of fresh air with each and every production.

OaT - Conviction

"Yo Bro - LP" - 21 tunes to forget 2020
About two years ago we started the release series "Yo Bro" together with some of our closest artists. After countless positive feedbacks and requests for participation in this project, we decided a year ago to turn the third "Yo Bro" release into our first Various Artists LP. After a year of planning and work, this centrepiece is finally complete. The compilation features artists from eight different countries and three different continents. It was important for us to create an interesting musical and human balance for this release. The "Yo Bro - LP" stands for the diversity of the dark, deep and rolling side of contemporary Drum & Bass.

Who knows us knows @smuskind! Smuskinds newest work is called "Bräd" and is the intro song of the "Yo Bro - LP". You can expect a powerful and playful piece, which shows a completely new facet of Drum & Bass.
