M.P.M.W.O.F.O.T.E.S.I. — Microtonal Phantasms – Mikrotonale Wirbel – Fractal Shadows – Trembling Shades – Infinite Sonic Ecosystem is an international collective of Italian, Austrian, Bohemian, and French musicians.
💾 The group has never met physically: every collaboration happens through the digital exchange of scores, recordings, and ideas, forming a completely virtual sonic ecosystem — a sort of musical darknet, but prettier.

The collective was discovered and coordinated by Marco Mario Farinato and the Collettivo Undersound, who connected them with Mir Bolz (Il Luccio), author of the texts and supervisor of the arrangements.
📡 Think of it as a peer‑to‑peer orchestra where nobody knows anyone’s IP address, but the music still syncs.
🎛️ Philosophy & Concept

    🌱 The music is born as a living ecosystem, where every instrument and every sound is an impossible organism in constant mutation.

    🛰️ The collective rejects any form of live performance: their art exists entirely in the digital realm, emphasizing physical distance and the idea of a sonic ecosystem suspended between microtonality and chaos.

    🧬 The texts — long, hypnotic, and immersive explore imaginary biology, impossible organisms, kaleidoscopic metamorphoses, and streams of consciousness, becoming part of the sonic architecture themselves.

    🎻 The compositions blend post‑classical, contemporary classical, microtonality, drones, orchestral clusters, and improvised stop‑and‑go structures, generating impossible soundscapes.

(Hacker note: the music basically behaves like a self‑aware operating system that refuses updates.)
