Spinning Maps is an EP built on movement — circular, hypnotic, alive.
It opens with a deep groove in open D, driven by a constant, warm, almost‑fretless bass line that loops like a wheel turning under the horizon. The track unfolds in a bright D Mixolydian mode, expanding into a wide acoustic landscape where every instrument breathes like wind across sand.

At the center of the journey, a santur improvisation in the Hijaz scale rises and coils, weaving microtonal ornaments that blur the line between tradition and dream.
Around it, layered dobro and banjo patterns create a desert‑folk resonance, shimmering like heat over stone.

The rhythm flows with a steady Istanbul‑style pulse — organic percussion, soft techno‑pop textures, subtle electronic sparks.
The result is an uplifting nomadic energy, emotional and cinematic, a sound that feels both ancient and futuristic.
🌀 The Poetic Core

The EP carries a lyrical monologue that moves like a glitch refusing to break:

Spins, pins, running circles,  
hopping like a glitch‑hopper out the frame…

It’s a voice caught between repetition and awakening —
a traveler stepping in and out of the same story until the rhythm finally holds.

The poem becomes a manifesto:

“I’m alive — and that’s enough.
The rest is noise.
The rest is story.
The rest is music.”
