Of all the old-school roleshifts, Spiraltale is definitely one of the most frequently overlooked. That's a shame, since it had some super interesting roles. Many people don't realize this, as a rather comprehensive rolelist was only released in one place: A Soundcloud post announcing a Spiraltale contest. One of those interesting roles that we never really saw anywhere else is the Tem Shopkeeper taking the role of Napstablook, and Bob taking the role of the Mad Dummy. So since Dummy! replacements aren't often made anyway and this role placement was too hilarious to pass up, here's, well, that.
The AU's owner, Bongo (formerly BC), is also just a lovely person. It is unclear if they'll ever be making music again, and if they do it's highly unlikely that said music will be Spiraltale, considering the last official song for the AU came out years ago.

We weren't gonna do any updates to pre-existing songs for the sendoff series, but Toadie wanted to do an update to Finemundi, one of the AU's most popular tracks. So here we are.         Earth was in peace, inhabitants such as the HUMANS and MONSTERS exhibit harmony for years. Yet, a terrible fate has settled between them. Fearing that HUMANS will fall dire to MONSTERS grabbing and absorbing their precious soul, they massacred most of the entirety of the MONSTERS. After encapsulating MONSTER-kind, they were left to suffer and endure the areas of the UNDERGROUND. Years later however, a human fell. This human was treated by the prince, Asriel, and took them, not as an enemy, but a friend and eventually, a sibling. But due to certain incidents, the human fell ill and died. Remembering their final wish, the prince, who was in fit with depression and determination, yielded their soul and crossed the barrier. Returning the human's corpse back to the village, the HUMANS were outraged and attacked Asriel. As he went back after fulfilling the wish, the prince collapsed due to immeasurable mortal damage.
        The king, who is the father of both children, plan to seek revenge. After knowing what must be done, he stated his rule. Any human who falls down, must venture through the UNDERGROUND and attempt to kill him to go home. Numerous sacrifices were made, not only children, but relationships and morality.
        And finally, the final human... They made the same actions of the children before them, but eventually killed the king. Yet it didn't felt captivating enough... They RESET'ed to where they left off, and did what must be done. But in the end, something...went wrong. The final human, mysteriously disappeared in the UNDERGROUND... After hearing that another child was missing and were lastly seen on the top of the mountain, the HUMANS assumed that the MONSTERS have finally got enough souls. However, they were left skeptical and confused, that they have yet to see their enemy race come out the mountain's original BARRIER passage. In the end, the last human's ending was left unfinished...

	After knowing the recent news, Varik, the main protagonist, kept the news in mind while watching the beautiful women, talking to fellow men and drinking all the beer on his favorite bar in Twoson, which was previously a theater. He might need this info whenever B. H. Pickle, the ex-mayor of Onett, calls him for some dirty laundry again. He still wonders to this day as to why he's even in Twoson or why he's even handling the bar at all. Whatever the reason, he doesn't care about him; but all he care is about himself and the money he gets from these tedious bounties. All he can hope is that this next job wouldn't be such a drag...

        The name is a combination of both tracks made my Toby. I recreated both individual tracks before mashing them up. Also, glad you are here to listen and continue. 	After dreaming a non-sensical thought once again, Varik wakes up at the entrance of the new Twoson Bar, which was previously a theater. After realizing he had too much alcohol again, he was dragged outside the bar. He learned that he was fit for another bounty. Going inside the manager's room, he meets B.H Pickle, the mayor of Onett. The mayor announced that a child has gone missing and declared that Varik should look for the child, so of course, B.H Pickle wouldn't have bad reputation. He was now forced once again but this time, to visit Mt. Ebott in search of the missing child. As he walked towards the door, Varik remembered that he didn't need to kill...
He needed this bounty alive.

Varik took steps backward, now near the door frame while Toriel took steps forward, facing Varik and intimidating him with fire on her hand.

* (The sound of rumbling stones and debris are imminent within your position.)

Varik fled by going to the door, letting him enter the RUINS. Suddenly, a pile of rocks fell down on the door, blocking the frame from entrance. Toriel was left unharmed from the rocks falling but was left stuck outside of the RUINS.

	After a long trip of using the bus to Mt. Ebott, Varik reached the mountain where the human was last seen. Varik, despite how tall the mountain was, climbed up to the top. He used all his food and water just to climb the dangerous hills. After reaching the top, Varik looked at the big hole of the area. Without hesitation, Varik jumped to the depths of the UNDERGROUND. Surprisingly, Varik was left unharmed as he was saved by golden flowers on the ground. He stumbled across an area where there was a goat-like creature sobbing and mumbling. It was Toriel, once caretaker of the ruins and queen of the UNDERGROUND. They seem more depressed than usual, having to lose all her children and distraught over the events of the last human disappearing. Toriel gave the courtesy of helping Varik how to properly ACT. Though, having to know Varik's limited options presumably since he is a bounty hunter, he cannot ACT. Depending on the route taken, this will happen in the Pacifist/Neutral Route: With no option left, he was forced to flee. Toriel was confused to this. This made her realize that he was probably one of the "monster hunters". Fearing for her life, she threatened Varik close to the entrance of the RUINS. This was cut short with the rubble descending and blocking of the RUINS' entrance. Toriel hesitated to kill Varik and let him go, with that decision, she saved herself from getting crashed by the fallen wreckage.

This is technically a character and a battle theme, as this still plays in the tutorial battle, making this theme have a heartbeat. However, at this point in the game, you don't even have Sleepstun α yet and can only be acquired through hacking. Regarding to heartbeats, I'll try my best to illiterate heartbeats in written form. Don't worry, heartbeats are to be uploaded along with their tracks. Also might upload another track later. Stay tuned.

* Running away from that senile, yet crazy mammal lady, you sense a great deep pulsating feeling.
* Feeling of heavy yet excited composure, sided with simple, yet prepared curiosity for what's up next.
* As you capture your anxiety in your stomach, you were blasted with a surprising treat. 
* The meticulous and bright area around you is filled with the spoopy horrors of Halloween's terror.
* Orange painted possibly side-planted brick walls along with green mossy almost flowering vines.
* Pumpkin holding candy baskets with child sized light pillars and Halloween sleep over-esque material boxes scattered on the floor.
* There's also faint cobwebs in the corners with at least octuple and tiny, itty bitty spiders in each residing silk.
* The air of the wrecked dungeon seemed pleasant and fitting with the season of the childish nightmares.
* As you enjoy the sight of the eye-candy scenery, you could hear the beats of one's heart.
* Yelping to their brain's capacity, telling you to propel your legs forward.
* The people graciously gave you their everlasting light for what is up next in this sunset grazed depths.
* You took a deep breath and open your eyes, as your body tingled with full will and purpose.
* You are filled with DETERMINATION.

	After escaping from two impending deaths, Varik is surprised to see his first dungeon on his second job; ultimately better than sewers. Ruins is much more orange hued than normal with multiple new things lying around as well as still having that Halloween spirit. There's no exact reason to why this is apparent but MONSTERS may have indulged themselves with HUMAN traditions recently. They nailed what a kid's dream will be for a Halloween party. Though for Varik, this is still a mission. He could sense that his fate will be in good hands. After all, it is to find that missing child...

Okay! The final track for this week. I might not upload for a bit due to circumstances that I have yet to entirely plan. Also some of you might ask? What is my goal for this AU? Well, something big. Something you'd never expect. Soon, we will be seeing each other. Only if we could be more known, that is, then your wish will be granted. And soon, if that wish does come true, I will finally need your assistance. Only those who are truly talented are capable to be apart of this project. There's already one, but I shall not disclose this information yet. Regarding to the uploads, do not worry, it will soon come back I truly hope. After all, I'm still with you in the dark.

05 | Once Loved Ruins

* Are we there yet? I'm getting bored and tired of trying to tag along with y'all.

Kris turned around and looked at Vlad with an annoyed look on their face.

* Can you shut it, Vlad?
* You're the only one flying here while me and Varik are walking and not complaining.

* Ehh. Not my fault you guys are born this way.

Vlad put his tongue out cheekily as Kris facepalmed angrily while Varik tried to calm down Kris.

As they continued to travel the Catacombs, they reached to a very suspicious hallway with unlit torches on the walls. Unnerving, they proceeded to continue onward. That's when the torches lit up when they walk past it. Varik thought that this wasn't good. At the end of the hallway, there is a statue that is blocking a big door. The statue had similar carving designs to Toriel's, only difference were a crown and a staff being hold by the statue. The divine carving also had light shining upon it due to the broken ceiling; it seemed that this totem fell but was able to survive the fall despite it looking slightly cracked. Vlad was excited that the walk is over and proceeded to fly head first to the statue to touch it. Varik sweated as he tried to stop Vlad.

* Oooo, a statue!

As the vampire's fingers imprint the stone, the statue's lifeless eyes lit up an orange red. Vlad immediately hid from Varik and Kris as the duo brandished their swords.

	Many Toriel Guardians have been made in order to protect valuable and significant items within the Catacombs. These were made by previous inhabitants of the Ruins and the Catacombs, originally to protect the Catacombs as a whole since it was being built as a safekeeping of artifacts and secrets. These meticulous statues have the ability to withstand strong elemental attacks while also being capable of imbuing strong fire magic. It's strength is as identical to Toriel's but is capable of doing more than what's prescribed. These statues are seen throughout the backgrounds of the Catacombs; from pillars, to walls. Varik has happened to come across one guarding a door. It seemed illogical to have one in front of a door but it is assumed that this fell from the ceiling hence the  gleaming light above it, making the divine seemingly divine. After being trampled with by the ghastly vampire, its eyes shown hostility towards the group which lead them to battle the statue.

Hello, everyone. I haven't abandoned this project as you may have thought. A lot of unfortunate events have happened in regards to my schedule, I couldn't keep up once again. I can't keep using this as an excuse for long, I know that. But I'm trying my best to give out content with very little time and scheduling I have left. Anywho, this is [technically] the "Heartache" replacement of the AU. The track can be heard to some enemies and bosses.

Aftergore IV, the Queen Undyne ending, details an ending in which Toriel and the Ruins monsters are killed, but everyone else is left unharmed (other than Asgore of course). Undyne rules the Underground with an iron fist. Humans are to be treated as enemies, not friends.

Unsurprisingly, Undyne takes the role of Asgore. With her hero gone, she has furiously taken over the Underground, and rules it militantly. She has vowed to break the Barrier by any means necessary, and strike vengeance upon mankind for their transgressions. The world will come to fear the name QUEEN UNDYNE.
